Bell included Auburn, Kentucky, Florida and UCF with Tennessee. At 6-foot-7, 256-pounds, Bell is a 3-star prospect that the 247Sports Composite rates as the No. 19 player in Alabama.
The towering rising senior at Albertville High School also fielded offers from Ole Miss, Purdue and Nebraska. Tennessee tight ends coach Joe Osovet is UT’s primary recruiter for Bell.
The Vols did not sign a tight end in the 2020 recruiting cycle, and still do not have one committed to a 2021 class that currently ranks as the No. 2 class in the country.
