Tennessee outside linebackers coach Shelton Felton has ben busy recruiting the west coast, with one of the Vols’ latest scholarship offers going towards 2022 outside linebacker Sterling Lane from Westlake Village, California.

The Vols also recently offered Lane’s teammate, weak-side defensive end Mathias Malaki-Donaldson, also of the 2022 recruiting class.
Lane is a 6-foot-4, 215-pound linebacker that is rated a 4-star prospect by 247Sports, as well as the No. 24 outside linebacker in his class and the No. 25 player in California.
Kansas, LSU, Michigan, Oregon, Utah, Michigan and Missouri have also offered Lane. Tennessee has also added defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley to support Felton in his recruitment.
