KNOXVILLE — As discussion circulates about the possibility of Power Five conferences suspending the 2020 college football season due to concerns regarding the coronavirus pandemic, players have taken to social media to make their voices heard.
After hearing these concerns, University of Tennessee Chancellor Donde Plowman met with Tennessee football players and staff on Monday to have a discussion about the upcoming season.

“This group of student-athletes have worked hard to prepare for the season amidst detailed and strict healthy and safety protocols. I can’t wait to see them on the field in Neyland Stadium.”
