Arnold has mostly garnered attention as a defensive back, and also holds an offer from Tennessee football as a 4-star prospect. The 247Sports Composite rates the 6-foot-2, 187-pound 2021 prospect as the No. 9 safety in his class and No. 29 player in Florida.
He is more of a raw prospect on the hardwood, but it could prove to be a good strategy for the Vols to pursue him from both ends. Tennessee did the same thing with two prospects from the 2020 recruiting class, landing Malachi Wideman and Dee Beckwith as dual-sport athletes.
