Tennessee 2021 commits update recruitment status

Tennessee can count on signing these players in this year’s recruiting cycle.

It has not been an easy week for Jeremy Pruitt and Tennessee on the recruiting trail.

The Vols currently have a five-game losing streak with No. 5 Florida coming to Neyland Stadium Saturday.

Recently two major prospects have decommitted from UT’s 2021 recruiting class. 4-star cornerback Damarius Mcghee and 5-star linebacker Terrence Lewis will both look elsewhere. Lewis did mention that Tennessee is still one of his top schools.

The good news, however, is a few of Tennessee’s top commits reaffirmed their commitment this week.

4-star dual-threat quarterback Kaidon Salter has made it clear he will be signing with the Vols during the early signing period.

4-star linebacker Aaron Willis, 4-star defensive end Dylan Brooks, 3-star offensive lineman Isaac Washington and 4-star defensive tackle KaTron Evans also took to Twitter to show their continued pledge to Tennessee.

These players are important for Tennessee to keep in its 2021 recruiting class.

The Vols’ class is now ranked No. 13 in the country and No. 5 in the SEC per 247Sports.
