The Baltimore Ravens kicked off their joint practices with the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday. Both teams got good work in going up against each other, but there was a mini-scuffle that broke out after Ravens’ wide receiver Binjimen Victor got upended by Panthers defensive back Keith Taylor.
First fight here after Ravens WR Binjimen Victor was drilled to ground. Victor got up and went after guy who hit him (missed guy’s number). Things then escalated. Proche and Villanueva were heavily involved in scrum. Peters and Levine came over from adjacent field.

Here’s video of the inciting play from today’s scuffle. It was apparently Keith Taylor who upended Binjimen Victor.

Multiple Baltimore players took exception to Taylor’s actions, and a mini-scrum ensued. While everything was going on, Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters and safety Anthony Levine Sr. joined the fray from the field where the Baltimore defense was working, which resulted in Peters and Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn exchanging words.

Marcus Peters and Anthony Levine Sr. were on the front lines of the fracas afterward. Peters and Jaycee Horn were talking, and they dapped up afterward.
Alejandro Villanueva was in the eye of the storm on the other side of the conformation. Hard to miss.

For the most part, fighting during joint practices isn’t a surprising development. Going up against another team always raises the intensity levels, so sometimes something can spark a dust-up. The Ravens have one more day of joint work with the Panthers before facing them on Saturday in their second preseason game of 2021.
