The slow reveal of “Madden NFL 21” player ratings has created some fun, lighthearted Cincinnati Bengals content during an otherwise dry part of the summer in that regard.
And this is especially the case with second-round rookie Tee Higgins.
After revealing Joe Burrow’s official rating for the upcoming video game, EA Sports then dropped the rookie wideout rankings, where Higgins landed at a 71. That probably wasn’t as high as most expected given he was the first pick of the second round and Bengals coaches have made it clear they view him as a first-round product.
Either way, it’s funny to see some of the candid moments between Higgins and “ratings adjuster” Chad Johnson.

In the first video, Higgins wasn’t too thrilled with his blocking or catching ratings. Luckily for him, he might have plenty of chances to force EA Sports’ hand here soon once the season gets started.
Higgins will apparently work out with Chad this offseason before training camp.
