Teams with cap space that can acquire Tobias Harris from Sixers in a trade

Here are the teams with cap space currently that can acquire Tobias Harris from the Philadelphia 76ers in a trade.

Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris will have his name floated on the trade market throughout the offseason because the 5-year, $180 million deal he signed in 2019 will expire after the 2023-24 season. He is due to make $39 million in the final season, and that makes him an attractive trade piece.

However, trading Harris will be tricky. While he put up solid numbers of 14.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 50.1% from the floor and 38.9% from deep, the money could be a bit much for a team to acquire in a deal. Philadelphia might have to attach an attractive asset to him in any deal.

On the flip side, maybe the Sixers don’t trade Harris. He is a dependable player within the offense and he is becoming a very good on-ball defender. Plus the money coming off the books will help them in the 2024 offseason.

If the Sixers opt for the trade route, there are teams that have the cap space to absorb his contract, though this does not mean any of these teams will acquire Harris:
