Teams calling on CB Greedy Williams, but ‘nothing is imminent’

Teams are calling on Greedy Williams, but “nothing is imminent”

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano, the Cleveland Browns have received multiple calls on cornerback Greedy Williams. According to the pair from ESPN, however, “nothing is imminent” in terms of the Browns dealing the former second rounder.

With the continued concussion symptoms of Denzel Ward, this makes a bit of sense for the Browns to retain Williams and allow him to contribute towards the compensatory pick formula after the season. However, if enough teams call, the price of Williams could climb to a point too high for the Browns to say no to.

With six days until the deadline, the Browns are shaping up to be one of the more active teams with players like Williams and running back Kareem Hunt.
