Team USA gets an Olympics win over Serbia with help from three former Wildcats

Devin Booker and a few other former Wildcats helped Team USA to a win over Serbia at the Olympics.

On Saturday, Canada’s men’s basketball team got a win, aided by three former Kentucky basketball stars. On Sunday, Team USA matched the feat with a 110 – 84 victory over Serbia.

Kevin Durant paced Team USA with 23 points, while LeBron James added 21. However, all three of the former Wildcats contributed to the win.

Devin Booker score 12 points, all on three-pointers, going 4-for-5 from deep. He also had five assists and two steals in the game.

Anthony Davis scored just seven points. However, he led the team with eight rebounds, and added a steal and an assist.

The third former Kentucky player, Bam Adebayo, scored four points while adding two rebounds and two assists.

Next up for Team USA is a match-up with a South Sudan team who played the United States tough last week. USA won that one 101 – 100. Big Blue Nation gets an added bonus with Wenyen Gabriel playing for South Sudan. Fans can view the game on the USA Network and Peacock.
