TE Keleki Latu accepts invite to Hula Bowl

Washington tight end Keleki Latu will have an opportunity to showcase his skills alongside some of the country’s top seniors.

After the Washington Huskies suffered a host of injuries at the tight end position early in the season, Keleki Latu became one of the biggest revelations for coach Jedd Fisch’s team. The 6-foot-7, 230-pound tight end started his career at California before transferring to Nevada, and eventually Washington, where he was named an All-Big Ten honorable mention in his final season.

Just like his brother Laiatu, who started his career at Washington and was a first-round pick by the Indianapolis Colts in April, Keleki has an NFL body and will get a chance to put his talents on display in front of NF scouts at the Hula Bowl.

One of college football’s premier senior all-star games, Latu got stronger as the season went along, finishing third on the team with 40 receptions, which he took for 371 yards and a touchdown. He showed impressive progression as a blocker, and position coach Jordan Paopao also helped him improve at picking up yards after the catch.

With a strong showing in Orlando, Latu could be in consideration for an NFL combine invite in what has grown into a very strong tight ends class, which would take him one step closer to his ultimate goal.

“It’s my goal to be able to play with or against my brother,” he said in October.

The 2025 draft’s tight ends class has become a desired one, headlined by Michigan’s Colston Loveland, Penn State’s Tyler Warren, and Bowling Green’s Harold Fannin Jr., which could push Latu’s stock up if there’s an early run at the position in April.
