Tate Strickland commits to Tennessee.

Tennessee received a baseball commitment Sunday.

2024 outfielder and pitching prospect Tate Strickland announced his commitment to the Vols on Twitter.

“I am honored and excited to announce my commitment to further my academic and baseball career at the University of Tennessee,” Strickland said. “Thank you to my family and coaches for all the support. Go Vols.”

The 6-foot-1, 165-pound 2024 prospect is from Carl J. Harrison High School in Kennesaw, Georgia.

During the 2021 season, Tennessee’s baseball program made its first appearance in the College World Series since 2005 under fourth-year head coach Tony Vitello.

The Vols won the 2021 Southeastern Conference eastern division championship.
