Mack Brown and the UNC football program are hoping for some good news on Sunday night.
The recruitment for four-star wide receiver Jordan Shipp is coming to an end and going into the decision, North Carolina appears to be the lead team in the recruitment. Shipp is set to decide between North Carolina, NC State and Michigan after receiving 19 total offers in his recruitment.
But hours away from the decision, the Tar Heels lead in the 247Sports crystal ball predictor, holding all six predictions. That’s a great sign for the Tar Heels as they look to reel in the Charlotte native for the 2024 recruiting class.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Shipp is a Charlotte native and ranked as a four-star recruit by the 247Sports composite rankings. He’s No. 425 overall, the No. 64 wide receiver, and No. 13 player in the state of North Carolina per the rankings.
North Carolina currently has 23 commitments in the 2024 class which ranks No. 24 overall.
