North Carolina is coming back home to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, for the last game of the year tonight against the Campbell Fighting Camels. They will take the court at the Dean Dome at 8:00 p.m. ET in a non-conference battle.
Looking toward the game, Hubert Davis has previously mentioned, after the win against No. 18 UCLA, that he was strongly considered going to a four-guard starting lineup that includes Ian Jackson, Elliot Cadeau, RJ Davis, and Seth Trimble, a four-some that includes assists, deep threats, driving ability, and strong defensive presence.
One of those guards will not be in uniform tonight, though, as Seth Trimble was seen in street clothes and will be a no-go in tonight’s Campbell game.
Trimble is averaging 14.8 points per game this season, which is second on the team to RJ Davis’ 18.5 points per game. He leads the team in rebounding at 4.8 rebounds per game and dishes out 1.7 assists per game. He also leads the team with 1.8 steals and is just behind Drake Powell at 0.7 blocks per game.

Trimble will be a huge missing piece with him not being in uniform. Hubert Davis will have to rely that much more heavily on a fragile frontcourt full of inconsistencies. Drake Powell should be the biggest benefactor of the outage.
Trimble’s next chance at action will be on Wednesday night, January 1st, against Louisville, a conference opponent, on the road at the KFC Yum! Center.
