If you take away the result of Notre Dame’s loss to Clemson, it wasn’t that bad of a day overall for the offense. While the passing left something to be desired, the running game still did pretty well. Hopefully, both units can come together for the last two games of the regular season starting with the home finale. Plus, you know [autotag]Sam Hartman[/autotag] will want to showcase his absolute best against his former program.
Speaking of that former program, Wake Forest’s defense is about as mediocre as you can imagine. If you take a look at the below figures, you’ll find just about all of them at or near the middle of the national rankings. That should mean a good game for the Irish’s offense. Then again, that unit has let the fan base down a couple of times this season.
