The Atlanta Falcons are near the bottom of the league in most defensive statistics, and the offense has since failed to regain its form since Kyle Shanahan’s departure after the Super Bowl. The Falcons — a 3-9 team — aren’t very good.
But if you play for the Atlanta Falcons, it’s probably a good idea to refrain from mocking your own team on Twitter.
Defensive end Takk McKinley, though, decided to go in a different direction.
After the Bulldogs got off to a rough start in the SEC Championship Game against LSU at the Falcons’ home of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, McKinley took to Twitter to poke fun at the Bulldogs and … uh … his current team.
Even if the tweet was accurate (it was), the comment didn’t sit well with plenty of Georgia/Falcons fans.

Probably not a laughing matter

McKinley is in his third season with the Falcons. He has just 1.5 sacks on the year and 23 tackles.
