The Florida Gators are almost back to full strength.
Only three of the eight players listed on last week’s injury report remain sidelined heading into the Tennessee matchup, including major returns from center Kinglsey Eguakun and Jack Miller III.
Miller didn’t see any action in the McNeese State win as he dealt with an upper-body injury. Max Brown and Micah Leon got snaps instead, but it looks like Miller will be ready to go if anything should happen to Graham Mertz.
Eguakun is the bigger addition to the team, replacing Jake Slaughter in the middle of Florida’s offensive line. The running game should benefit from his return. Eguakun was a 13-game starter in each of the past two seasons for Florida.
Receiver Thai Bowman and tight end Tony Livingston are still listed as questionable, but Marcus Burke and Khaleil Jackson are back in the receiver rotation after recovering from lower-body injuries.
On defense, Florida is getting a major piece back in cornerback Devin Moore. He missed last week with strep, but he should be ready to go as the team’s No. 2 or 3 corner this week.
Ja’Markis Weston is still out with an upper-body injury. He was playing the SAM linebacker spot behind Scooby Williams and Mannie Nunnery.
Of course, Jadarrius Perkins is no longer with the team, so he is officially not listed on this week’s depth chart.
The only other notable change to the depth chart is at nose tackle, where Jamari Lyons has earned an “OR” designation to share the backup spot with Desmond Watson.
