Iowa‘s 92-75 win over Ohio State was the first key victory in what can hopefully become a string of big performances.
This one was must-win for the Hawkeyes (17-9, 9-6 Big Ten). While beating the 11-15 Buckeyes will not put you on anyone’s radar, losing to them for the second time this year can certainly bump you off of March Madness brackets. It truly would be a loss that would be hard to come back from, and thankfully we don’t even have to worry about that.
This game went exactly how the first outing between these two sides should have gone, with Iowa dominating as clearly the better team. They caused turnovers, dominated the offensive glass, and most importantly, hit their dang 3-pointers. Here are the big takeaways from Thursday night’s performance.
