The most fun baseball play of 2020 might belong to Lin Che-Hsuan.
He’s an outfielder for the Fubon Guardians of the Chinese Professional Baseball League, and he’s now making headlines for a catch he made of a near-home run.
But it wasn’t the catch that was the most noteworthy thing about the play (although it was a pretty sweet grab!). It was the fact that he looked pretty sad, hiding the fact that he had actually made the catch … while everyone from the hitter to the fans to the actual broadcast was fooled into thinking he’d missed it.
Then, he revealed that he had the baseball:
THAT ONE IS GOOOOOONNN….
NOPE!!!! THAT ONE CAUGHT BY Lin Che-Hsuan!!!

“He caught the baseball! He deked all of us!” Yep, that sums it up. Even the umpire seemed a little confused. Amazing work right there.
