Tuivasa (15-8 MMA, 8-8 UFC) dropped his fifth fight in a row when he lost a split decision to Jairzinho Rozenstruik (15-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) on Saturday’s main card at RAC Arena in Perth. Judge Howie Booth was relieved of his duties after awarding Tuivasa a 30-27 scorecard, which turned many heads.

Tuivasa was hoping to find new life after relocating to Dubai, where he was once able to amass a five-fight knockout streak ā€“ including a finish of former title challenger Derrick Lewis. The 31-year-old fan favorite has had an inconsistent run in the octagon, putting together three wins followed by three losses, then five wins followed by five losses.
