Despite a rather depressing weekend for the Florida fans, we here at Gators Wire are celebrating our first anniversary as a source for all of your UF needs. For the record, our very first post was this photo gallery from the Florida vs. Florida State game in 2019.
Now that is out of the way, the multi-colored pink polka-dotted elephant in the room is the condition of Gators star forward Keyontae Johnson, who was hospitalized after collapsing in a game against the Florida State Seminoles. As of the last report, he remains in critical but stable condition.
Back to a more pleasant topic, the women’s basketball team will host the Tarleton State Texans (3-3) in the O’Connell Center today with tip off scheduled for 1 p.m. EST. The Lady Gators enter the game with a 5-1 record having won their past four games and looking for more.
