Minnesota Lynx at New York Liberty odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Minnesota Lynx at New York Liberty odds and lines, with WNBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Minnesota Lynx (28-9) and New York Liberty (31-6) meet Sunday at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Lynx vs. Liberty odds, and make our expert WNBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Lynx lead 2-1

The Liberty can secure the top overall seed with a win over the 2nd-place Lynx, as New York has a 3-game lead in the standings with 3 games to go in the regular season. Minnesota is also trying to hold off the 3rd-place Connecticut Sun, as the Lynx are 1 game clear of them in the standings.

Minnesota has won 2 of 3 meetings with New York this season, including a 94-89 victory in the Commissioner’s Cup on June 25.

The Lynx have won 5 in a row, and 12 of the past 13 outings, while going 10-3 against the spread (ATS) in the span since Aug. 15, the 1st game out of the All-Star and Olympics break. The Under has cashed in the past 3 games, and 5 of the past 6 outings.

For the Liberty, they’ve won 5 in a row since dropping 2 of 3 games in late August. They’ve also covered the past 2 games, cashing in consecutive games against the number for the 1st time since a 7-0 ATS run from July 10-Aug. 20. The Under is 3-1 in the past 4 games, and 8-3 across the previous 11 outings.

Lynx at Liberty picks and predictions

Prediction

Lynx 80, Liberty 76

Moneyline

MINNESOTA (+150) has been a real thorn in the side of New York (-185) this season, and it should be able to keep its hopes alive for the top seed for at least 1 more game, although it’s a tall order. The Lynx would have to win out, while the Liberty must lose out. Anything is possible, though.

One thing is for certain, the Liberty certainly doesn’t want to face the Lynx in the playoffs, as Minnesota has been one of a few teams to give them issues this season.

Against the spread

If you’re just not sold on playing MINNESOTA +4.5 (-110) straight up, taking the points isn’t a bad idea.

The Lynx are 2-1 SU and ATS in 3 meetings with New York -4.5 (-110) this season, and Minnesota is 9-3 ATS across the previous 12 outings. On the road, Minnesota is 5-2 ATS in the past 7 tries, too.

Over/Under

UNDER 159.5 (-110) might be the best play in this marquee clash between the top 2 teams in The W.

The Under is on a 3-0 run for the Lynx, while going 5-1 across the past 6 outings. The Under is 3-1 in the past 4 outings on the road for Minnesota, too, while going 2-0 in the 2 regular-season meetings with New York.

For the Liberty, the Under is on a 3-1 run, while going 8-3 across the past 111 outings. At home, New York has seen the total go low in 5 in a row.

Phoenix Mercury at Chicago Sky odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Phoenix Mercury at Chicago Sky odds and lines, with WNBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Phoenix Mercury (17-20) and Chicago Sky (13-24) meet Sunday at Wintrust Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Mercury vs. Sky odds, and make our expert WNBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Mercury lead 2-0

The Mercury dropped their 3rd straight with an 88-69 loss to the Connecticut Sun Friday. G Diana Taurasi is struggling, shooting just 17-for-51 (33.3%) from the floor over her last 5 games. She’s averaging 11 PPG during the stretch. The Mercury have dropped 7 of 10.

Chicago got a spirited win last weekend over the Dallas Wings in their 1st game without F Angel Reese. G Chennedy Carter had 28 points in that one. However, it was time to pay the piper after as they’ve been bludgeoned 89-58 and 83-66 since. She had 16 and 17 points in those, and they’re really going to need her to go off to compete. They are tied for the final playoff spot with the Washington Mystics.

Mercury at Sky odds

  • Moneyline (ML): Mercury -115 (bet $115 to win $100) | Sky -105 (bet $105 to win $100)
  • Against the spread: Mercury -1.5 (-105) | Sky -1.5 (-115)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 157.5 (O: -110 | U: -110)

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Mercury at Sky picks and predictions

Prediction

Mercury 77, Sky 71

Moneyline

I look for the Mercury to get back on track here, but there is better value on the spread.

You could head over to FanDuel Sportsbook and take BRITTNEY GRINER OVER 7.5 REBOUNDS (-108). She has 8+ boards in 3 of 4 games, and with Reese out, she’ll clog up the middle.

Against the spread

Take the MERCURY -1.5 (-105) at a better price here. The Sky are in deep trouble without Reese, and Carter is seriously going to have to drop nearly 30 to stay in it.

Play our free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under

With the low-scoring outputs of each side, and Taurasi’s shooting woes, I like the UNDER 157.5 (-110) here. Chicago has gone Under in 3 straight since Reese went down, and Phoenix has only touched 70 points once in their last 3.

Dallas Wings at Indiana Fever odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Dallas Wings at Indiana Fever odds and lines, with WNBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Dallas Wings (9-29) and Chicago Sky (19-19) meet Sunday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET (NBA TV). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Wings vs. Fever odds, and make our expert WNBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Tied 1-1

The Wings have dropped 7 in a row but managed to cover for the first time in the stretch with an 83-81 loss to the Seattle Storm Friday. G Arike Ogunbowale had an off night, going 6-for-20 for 15 points. C Teaira McCowan impressed with 23 points and 15 boards.

The accolades continue to pile up for America’s sweetheart G Caitlin Clark, who set the single-season assist record in a 78-74 loss to the Las Vegas Aces Friday. She struggled shooting the last 2 games against the tough Aces squad as she went 3-for-18 (16.7%) from downtown. She had hit 4+ 3-pointers in 5 straight before those slates.

Wings at Fever odds

Provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.

  • Moneyline (ML): Wings +310 (bet $100 to win $310) | Fever -400 (bet $400 to win $100)
  • Against the spread: Wings +8.5 (-110) | Fever -8.5 (-110)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 184.5 (O: -110 | U: -110)

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Wings at Fever picks and predictions

Prediction

Fever 99, Wings 89

Moneyline

I look for the Fever to handle their business here. They still could fall from the 7th to the 8th seed, but Dallas has nothing but pride to play for.

There’s no play on the ML here, and MGM didn’t have props available at press time.

You could head over to FanDuel Sportsbook and take CAITLIN CLARK OVER 3.5 THREES (-106). As mentioned, she hit 4+ in 5 straight games before facing Vegas, and she’ll use this as a get-right game before the playoffs.

Against the spread

I’m picking Indiana to win by 10 because Dallas has nothing to play for, but I really don’t feel the need to risk it on a late-season, 8.5-point spread.

PASS.

Play our free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under

Both matchups with these teams were crazy ones with nearly 200 points and each prevailing team hitting the century mark. The last 4 meetings have gone Over, and while I think there may be a slight sweat, I will take the OVER 184.5 (-110).

Chicago Sky at Minnesota Lynx odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Chicago Sky at Minnesota Lynx odds and lines, with WNBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Chicago Sky (13-23) and Minnesota Lynx (27-9) meet Friday at Target Center in Minneapolis. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (ION). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Sky vs. Lynx odds, and make our expert WNBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Lynx lead 2-0

The Sky enter play with a 1-game lead over both the Atlanta Dream and Washington Mystics for the final playoff spot in the WNBA. Those 2 teams giving chase actually face one another Friday in Atlanta, so somebody’s going to get a win.

The Sky were awful last time against the Mystics, falling 89-58 at Wintrust Arena Wednesday as 1-point underdogs as the Under (162) cashed. Chicago will be without rookie rebounding machine F Angel Reese, but it is unlikely she could have made up for a 31-point difference.

Chicago is just 2-8 straight up (SU) in the past 10 games since Aug. 18 while going 3-4 against the spread (ATS) in the previous 7 contests. The Under is 4-1 in the past 5 outings while going 6-2 in the past 8 games.

For Minnesota, it has passed the Connecticut Sun for the 2nd spot in the WNBA standings, and the Lynx are 2nd in the league with a plus-6.8 point differential, too.

The Lynx have won 4 in a row while covering 2 of the past 3 outings. The Lynx are also 11-1 SU in the past 12 games while going 8-3-1 ATS in the span. The Under is 4-1 across the pat 5 outings, including a 79-74 win over the Sky Sept. 1 in the most recent meeting as the Under (155.5) connected.

Sky at Lynx odds

  • Moneyline (ML): Sky +550 (bet $100 to win $550) | Lynx -800 (bet $800 to win $100)
  • Against the spread: Sky +12.5 (-105) | Lynx -12.5 (-115)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 156.5 (O: -110 | U: -110)

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Sky at Lynx picks and predictions

Prediction

Lynx 84, Sky 66

Moneyline

Minnesota (-800) will set you back 8 times your potential return, and that’s way too expensive for a singular bet or as part of a multi-leg parlay. Including the Lynx in your parlay would suck all of the value out of your ticket.

PASS.

Against the spread

MINNESOTA -12.5 (-115) surpassed Connecticut for 2nd place in the overall standings, and it will be working to keep the Sun in the rear-view mirror. It can’t catch the 1st-place New York Liberty, but the Lynx still have plenty at stake, so don’t expect them to take the foot off the gas.

Chicago +12.5 (-105) has plenty to play for, too, and currently it occupies the 8th playoff spot. But, this team was crushed by Washington last time out, and it looks like a different team without Reese snagging boards and providing 2nd and 3rd chances on offense.

Over/Under

UNDER 156.5 (-110) is worth a look in this battle in the Twin Cities.

The Under has cashed in 4 of the past 5 outings, including just 153 combined points on a total of 155.5 in the most recent meeting between these teams Sept. 1 in Minneapolis. The Under is 4-1 in the past 5 games at home for the Lynx, too.

For Chicago, it produced a season-low 58 points in the blowout loss to Washington last time out, and the Under is 4-1 in the past 5 games and 6-2 across the previous 8 outings.

Las Vegas Aces at Indiana Fever odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Las Vegas Aces at Indiana Fever odds and lines, with WNBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Las Vegas Aces (23-13) and Indiana Fever (19-18) meet Friday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in the 2nd game of a back-to-back set. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (ION). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Aces vs. Fever odds, and make our expert WNBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Aces lead 3-0

The Aces are piecing things together just in time for what it hopes is another championship run. Vegas has won 5 of the past 6 games straight up (SU), while covering in 6 in a row. The Under has cashed in 4 consecutive outings, while going 9 of the past 12 contests.

One of those victories and covers was in the front end of this back-to-back in Indy. Vegas won 86-75, beating the Fever for the 14th straight time, as A’ja Wilson scored 27 points with 12 rebounds. She became the WNBA’s single-season scoring leader in 35 games with 956 points, passing Seattle’s Jewell Loyd, who had 939 points in 38 games last season.

Indiana’s Caitlin Clark had a brutal night from behind the arc, going just 1-of-10 against Vegas, while finishing with 16 points on 6-of-22 shooting. Luckily, Kelsey Mitchell had 24 points to pace the Fever and keep them in it.

Aces at Fever odds

Provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated 6:58 a.m. ET.

  • Moneyline (ML): Aces -225 (bet $225 to win $100) | Fever +180 (bet $100 to win $180)
  • Against the spread: Aces -5.5 (-105) | Fever +5.5 (-115)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 177.5 (O: -110 | U: -110)

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Aces at Fever picks and predictions

Prediction

Aces 89, Fever 76

Moneyline

Las Vegas (-225) would set you back more than 2 times your potential return, and that’s way too much risk for not enough reward. While it seems like a slam-dunk play, as the Aces have vanquished Indiana (+180) in 14 straight meetings, it’s too expensive.

PASS.

Against the spread

It’s difficult to win and cover in a back-to-back set, especially on the road. However, LAS VEGAS -5.5 (-105) has managed 6 consecutive covers, and it has covered all 3 meetings with Clark and Indiana +5.5 (-115) this season. There is very little evidence that the Fever will suddenly catch fire and turn things around in this series.

Over/Under

UNDER 177.5 (-110) might be the best play on the board in this 2nd installment in the past 3 days.

The Under has cashed in each of the previous 2 meetings, including Wednesday’s game with a combined 161 points on a total of 180. The Under is 8-2 in the past 10 in the series since Aug. 28, 2021, too.

For Vegas, the total has gone low in 4 straight, and 12 of the past 16 outings since July 10 prior to the All-Star and Olympic break.

As far as Indiana is concerned, the Over is 5-1 in the past 6 games, but the Under has a slight 2-1 edge in the past 3 against winning teams, while going 7-2 in the previous 9 against teams above .500.

Washington Mystics at Atlanta Dream odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Washington Mystics at Atlanta Dream odds and lines, with WNBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Washington Mystics (12-24) and Atlanta Dream (12-24) meet Friday at Gateway Center Arena at College Park, Ga., in the front end of a home-and-home set. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (ION). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Mystics vs. Dream odds, and make our expert WNBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Tied 1-1

The Mystics and Dream are tied in the standings, 1 game behind the Chicago Sky as the 3 teams vie for the final playoff spot in the WNBA. While the loser of this game won’t necessarily be eliminated, it will be extremely tough to overcome a setback.

Washington made a statement Wednesday, winning 89-58 at Chicago as a 1-point favorite, while cashing the Under (162). It has won 6 of the past 8 games, while going 8-1 against the spread (ATS) in the previous 9 outings. The Under has cashed in the past 2 games, while going 6-3 in the past 9 contests.

Atlanta was tripped up 76-64 by the visiting Minnesota Lynx Tuesday as a 5-point ‘dog while the Under (155.5) cashed. The Dream have lost 7 of the past 9 games, while going 4-4-1 ATS in that span. The Under is on a 4-2 run.

The road team has won both meetings this season, with Washington routing Atlanta 87-68 in the most recent meeting in Georgia back on June 11, cashing as a 6.5-point underdog as the Under (156.5) hit. The Dream won 73-67 in D.C. on May 29 as 3-point favorites with the Under (164) also cashing.

Mystics at Dream odds

Provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated 6:34 a.m. ET.

  • Moneyline (ML): Mystics +145 (bet $100 to win $145) | Dream -175 (bet $175 to win $100)
  • Against the spread: Mystics +3.5 (+100) | Dream -3.5 (-120)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 156.5 (O: -110 | U: -110)

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Mystics at Dream picks and predictions

Prediction

Mystics 80, Dream 74

Moneyline

WASHINGTON (+145) is a solid play as moderate road underdogs. The road team has picked up victories in both meetings this season, and 3 in a row in the series since Sept. 8, 2023.

Plus, the Mystics are just playing much better basketball. Washington is 6-2 in its past 8 games since Aug. 23, while Atlanta is 2-7 across its previous 9 outings.

Against the spread

If you’d like to play it safe and need a little wiggle room in the event of a close game, MYSTICS +3.5 (+100) is worth a look. Don’t play both the moneyline and the underdog together, though. If you’re more conservative, take the points, and if you’re a little more adventurous, go with the moneyline. Either way, though, you should be fine.

Over/Under

UNDER 156.5 (-110) is the lean but go with a half-unit play at most.

The Under has cashed in both previous meetings this season, and the total has gone low in 4 in a row in this series. With a lot of pressure to win and keep playoff hopes alive, we should see some nerves, and poor shooting, at least initially.

The Under is 2-0 in the past 2 for Washington, and 6-3 in the past 9 outings. For Atlanta, the total has gone low in 4 of the past 6 contests.

New York Liberty at Dallas Wings odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s New York Liberty at Dallas Wings odds and lines, with WNBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The New York Liberty (30-6) and Dallas Wings (9-27) meet Thursday at College Park Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET (Prime Video). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Liberty vs. Wings odds, and make our expert WNBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Liberty lead 3-0

The Liberty have won 4 straight games since a stunning 94-88 setback in Los Angeles as a 12.5-point favorite. New York covered last time out as a 10-point favorite in Dallas in the front end of the back-to-back set, but it hasn’t covered consecutive games since covering 7 in a row from July 10-Aug. 20.

That 7-game cover streak ended in the 2nd end of a back-to-back at Barclays Center against the Wings on Aug. 22 as an 11-point favorite. New York is just 3-5 against the spread (ATS) in the previous 8 outings.

The Wings have dropped 5 in a row, while also failing to cover any of those outings. In the 5-game skid, Dallas has a margin of defeat of 10.2 points per game. The Over is 4-1 across the past 5 outings.

Liberty at Wings odds

  • Against the spread: Liberty -11.5 (-105) | Wings +11.5 (-115)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 178.5 (O: -105 | U: -115)

Liberty at Wings picks and predictions

Prediction

Liberty 94, Wings 88

Moneyline

New York (-650) will set you back 6 1/2 times your potential return, and that’s way too expensive for a standalone wager, or as part of a multi-leg parlay. There is just no value playing such heavy favorites.

AVOID.

Against the spread

The WINGS +11.5 (-115) are worth a look as the underdog in the 2nd end of the back-to-back set. Dallas covered the 2nd end in the 2-game set in Brooklyn back in late August.

Dallas has failed to cover the past 5 outings, so this takes a little bit of a leap of faith. But, the Liberty are 1-5 ATS in the past 6 games as a favorite of 7.5 or more points.

Over/Under

OVER 178.5 (-105) is worth a look whenever the Wings are in action.

Dallas has the worst defense in the W, allowing 91.6 PPG, while the opposition is hitting 47.5% from the field. The Wings are slightly better against the 3, allowing teams to hit at 36.1%, which ranks 10th.

The Over is 3-2 in the past 5 games for the Liberty, too, including the Over in Dallas on Tuesday.

Washington Mystics at Chicago Sky odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Washington Mystics at Chicago Sky odds and lines, with WNBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Washington Mystics (11-24) and Chicago Sky (13-22) meet Wednesday at Wintrust Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Mystics vs. Sky odds, and make our expert WNBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Mystics lead 2-1

The Mystics are still mathematically alive for a playoff berth, but the clock is ticking. Washington is 2 games behind the Sky, who currently occupies the 8th and final playoff seed, with 5 games to play. The Atlanta Dream is also vying for a postseason spot, 1 game behind Chicago.

Washington has won a respectable 5 games in the past 7 outings, while going 7-1 against the spread (ATS) in the previous 8 contests. The Over is on a 3-1 run in the past 4 outings, too. That includes a key 74-70 win at Chicago on Aug. 28 as a 2.5-point favorite as the Under (158) cashed.

For Chicago, it has won and covered the past 2 outings after a 7-game skid from Aug. 18-Sept. 3. The Under has hit in 3 of the previous 4 outings.

Washington has picked up 6 victories in the past 7 meetings in this series since May 26, 2023, while the Mystics are 5-1 ATS in the past 6 outings. The Under is on a 6-1 run in the past 7 meetings, too, including 2 of 3 this season.

And, it’s worth mentioning yet again, Sky rookie F Angel Reese is now out for the remainder of the season due to wrist surgery.

Mystics 81, Sky 76

Moneyline

WASHINGTON (+104) is a solid play on the moneyline as slight underdogs on the road. The Mystics have won 6 of the past 7 in this series, and now the Mystics catch a break by not having to contend with the rebounding machine Reese.

The Mystics are fighting for their playoff lives, and they’re playing great basketball lately, arguably some of the best in the Eastern Conference.

Against the spread

There is no value playing Washington +1.5 (-112) catching the little bit of points, as it costs you more than your return, when you can get a plus figure on the moneyline.

PASS, and look to the Mystics straight up.

Over/Under

UNDER 160.5 (-108) is a strong play in this key Eastern Conference battle.

While it’s key that the Under is 2-1 in 3 meetings between these teams this season, and the Under is 6-1 in the past 7 in the series, that’s not the only reason to look low.

In addition, Chicago will not have the luxury of 2nd and 3rd chances with Reese on the offensive glass. The Under is 3-1 in the past 4 games for the Sky, while the Under is 5-3 in the past 8 outings since Aug. 20 for the Mystics. That includes the most recent meeting on Aug. 28.

Las Vegas Aces at Indiana Fever odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Las Vegas Aces at Indiana Fever odds and lines, with WNBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Las Vegas Aces (22-13) and Indiana Fever (19-17) meet Wednesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in the front end of a back-to-back set. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET (NBATV). Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Aces vs. Fever odds, and make our expert WNBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Aces lead 2-0

The Aces have not only won both meetings this season, but Las Vegas has won 13 consecutive games in this series since Indiana won 86-71 at home on Aug. 27, 2019. Indiana is a respectable 3-2 against the spread (ATS) in the past 5 in the series, although the Aces have covered both games against Caitlin Clark and the Fever this season.

For Vegas, superstar A’ja Wilson is averaging 28.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game in the 2 meetings with Indiana this season.

The Over-Under has split in the 2 battles this season, both in Las Vegas, while the total has gone low at a 7-2 clip in the previous 9 in the series.

Las Vegas is coming off a 75-71 loss against the top-seeded New York Liberty at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Sunday, although it covered as 9.5-point underdogs. The Aces have covered a season-high 5 in a row. In fact, that cover streak comes on the heels of an 0-9 ATS skid, and Las Vegas was a dismal 10-20 ATS prior to the impressive run.

The Under has cashed in 3 in a row for Vegas, while going 11-4 in the past 15 outings. The Under has cashed on the 1st 2 games of this 4-game road trip, too.

Indiana is coming off a thrilling 104-100 overtime home victory Sunday against the Atlanta Dream, although it just missed covering as a 5-point favorite as the Over (171) comfortably cashed. Clark was sensational, going for 26 points, 12 assists and 4 3-pointers, although she did have 9 turnovers, too. But, it was Aliyah Boston who led the way with 30 points, 13 boards, 5 dimes and a blocked shot.

Aces at Fever picks and predictions

Prediction

Aces 96, Fever 90

Moneyline

Las Vegas (-154) has dominated this series over the past half-decade, winning 13 consecutive meetings since 2019, including the 2 installments this season against Clark.

However, backing the Aces on the moneyline makes little sense, unless you’re absolutely set on an Aces win, but only by a single point.

PASS, and lay the points instead.

Against the spread

Back LAS VEGAS -3 (-110), as it enters on a season-high 5-game cover streak. Between that, and the fact the Aces have won 13 straight in this series, you have to fade Indiana +3 (-110) until it proves it can get over the hump against the defending champs.

Over/Under

OVER 178 (-110) is a big number, but a strong play nonetheless.

The Over has cashed in 5 in a row for the Fever, as they’ve hit the century mark on offense in 3 of those outings. Indiana shouldn’t have nearly the same kind of offensive freedom against Las Vegas, but it still had a respectable 88 points in a loss against the No. 2 seed Minnesota Lynx in the game Friday, so it doesn’t seem to matter who is on the other side, Indiana is dictating the pace.

Minnesota Lynx at Atlanta Dream odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s Minnesota Lynx at Atlanta Dream odds and lines, with WNBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Minnesota Lynx (26-9) and Atlanta Dream (12-23) meet Tuesday at Gateway Center Arena at College Park. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (NBATV). Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Lynx vs. Dream odds, and make our expert WNBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Lynx lead 3-0

The Lynx have caught fire, winning 3 in a row, and 10 of the past 11 outings, moving into 2nd place in the WNBA’s overall standings behind the 1st-place New York Liberty. Minnesota is currently 4 games clear of the Las Vegas Aces for 1st place in the Western Conference, too.

Minnesota has had some issues against the number lately, going 1-3 against the spread (ATS) in the past 4 outings, but it is 7-3-1 ATS in the previous 11 contests. The Under is 3-1 in the past 4 games, too, mainly due to a power outage on offense. Minnesota has scored 79 or fewer points in 3 of the past 4 outings, which is below the season average of 82.9 PPG.

The Lynx are the No. 1 team in terms of 3-point shooting, hitting at a 38.2% clip. Defensively, Minnesota allows just 76.3 PPG, 3rd in The W, while ranking 1st in both defensive FG percentage (41.3%) and defensive 3-pointer percentage (30.1%).

For the Dream, they’re still mathematically alive for a playoff spot, jostling with the Chicago Sky (13-22) and Washington Mystics (11-24) for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Atlanta has scored 100 or more points in each of the past 2 games, while going 2-2 SU and 3-1 ATS in the past 4 outings.

Lynx at Dream picks and predictions

Prediction

Lynx 82, Dream 73

Moneyline

Minnesota (-230) is way too costly, as it will cost you more than 2 times your potential return. That’s way too much risk for not enough reward.

Instead, look to the spread instead. AVOID.

Against the spread

Play MINNESOTA -5.5 (-108) laying the points. The Lynx have been red-hot lately, and while Atlanta +5.5 (-112) is fighting for its playoff lives, it has an uphill climb.

The Lynx have struggled to score lately, but they’ll use their pinpoint 3-point shooting to get the job done on the road, as they build momentum heading into the postseason. Even with a loss, the Dream isn’t done. In fact, Atlanta has a home-and-home with Washington, and a home game with Chicago remaining on the schedule.

Over/Under

UNDER 158 (-110) is a solid play in this battle in the Atlanta.

The total has gone low in 3 of the past 4 games for Minnesota, as the Commissioner Cup winners have had trouble lighting up the scoreboard lately. But, defense has been keeping them on a winning track.

For the Dream, there has been no defense, so be careful here. It has back-to-back games hitting the century mark, but that was against the defensively-challenged Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever. It won’t have nearly the same kind of success against the suffocating Lynx D.
