As the Badger have built up their impressive class of 2021, one name has loomed large in the back of every Wisconsin fan’s head. The last name will sound quite familiar to anybody who is familiar with Badger recruiting. That last name is Rucci, and 2021 five-star OT Nolan Rucci has been at the top of every Wisconsin fan’s recruiting wish list.

The younger brother of current Wisconsin TE Hayden Rucci has been largely between Wisconsin, Penn State, and Clemson for the past few months according to 247Sports and other recruiting sites/insiders. Despite the intense recruiting battle being fought by Rucci’s in-state home at Penn State, the Badgers are looking to have a leg up at the moment according to national 247Sports insider Brian Dohn. In the class of 2021, Dohn has predicted the ultimate destination for 127/131 prospects (nearly 97%) correctly, and now sees Rucci landing with the Badgers.
The five-star OT would be the perfect ending to an already outstanding 2021 Wisconsin class that is currently ranked as the No. 17 class overall in the country. The younger Rucci would certainly boost that ranking up at least a few spots if he decides to follow his brother to Madison.
