The Kansas City Chiefs continue to make some interesting moves in the front office this offseason. The team recently added Jonathan Howard as a national scout, Marc Richards as a football research analyst, and Madison Aponte as a player personnel assistant.

According to Inside The League’s Neil Stratton, the Chiefs are set to hire Will Christopherson as their new NFS/Combine Scout for the 2022 NFL season. Christopherson will leave his job with the Maryland Terrapins as their Director of Player Personnel Operations to join Kansas City. He’s a decorated scout in the college circuit, working in personnel and recruiting with NC State, Minnesota and Alabama during the course of his career.

Christopherson will replace Ricky Seale, who spent one year as the team’s NFS Scout before joining Miami Dolphins front office staff earlier this month. Christopherson’s responsibility as an NFS Scout is to send grades and reports to the National Football Scouting Inc. (NFS), which is a scouting service the Chiefs (and most other teams) are a member of. Those grades and reports will inform NFS on which players should be invited to the upcoming NFL Scouting Combine.
