Kon Knueppel, a four-star class of 2024 recruit from Wisconsin Lutheran in Milwaukee won the the WIAA 3-Point Challenge on Saturday.
Knueppel took home the hardware as the best three-point shooter in the state of Wisconsin, winning the contest inside the Kohl Center, home of the Badgers. Ranked as the top player in the class of 2024, the 6-foot-5 forward has received many Division 1 offers, with Wisconsin offering him all the way back in August of 2021.
Recognized as one of the best shooters in the country, Knueppel will likely have a plethora of top-tier options for his collegiate career, so Wisconsin has their work cut out for them if they want him to pick their program.
Knueppel still has one more season at Wisconsin Lutheran before he’d make the leap, but his decision could come in the next month or two. The impressive junior averaged 19.7 points per game with 9.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists this season with the Vikings.
