The Alabama Crimson Tide welcome the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers to Bryant–Denny Stadium Saturday for the season-opening game for both programs. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET (Fubo). Below, we look at Western Kentucky vs. Alabama odds from FanDuel Sportsbook before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

Alabama is No. 5 in the US LBM Coaches Poll. The main change in Tuscaloosa this season is the addition of Kalen DeBoer, who is taking over from the infamous Nick Saban. DeBoer led Washington to the CFP title game last season. The Crimson Tide will again be led by QB Jalen Milroe, who had 2,834 passing yards and 35 total TDs last season.

While Western Kentucky will enter unranked, it did have a solid season a year ago. It finished 8-5 with a 5-3 record in Conference USA. The Hilltoppers will have an extremely experienced side, adding 6 junior and senior transfers. They will be led by 6-foot-7 Texas State transfer QB TJ Finley, who went for 3,439 passing yards and 24 TDs last season.

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (2-0) and the Ohio State Buckeyes (2-0) meet Saturday at Ohio Stadium in Columbus. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Western Kentucky vs. Ohio State odds from FanDuel Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire’s college football picks and predictions.

The Hilltoppers have rolled up 92 total points in 2 victories — topping South Florida 41-24 in the opener before belting FCS Houston Christian 52-22. WKU cashed the Over (63.5) against HCU, but it didn’t come close to covering the 42.5-point spread.

The Buckeyes struggled on offense in a 23-3 road win at Indiana in Week 1. Things were a little better in a 35-7 victory over Youngstown State of the FCS in the home opener, but it didn’t threaten to cover the 44.5-point spread at any point. The Under has cashed in both wins, with the defense allowing just 10 total points.

Ohio State is No. 4 in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll.

This will be the 1st meeting between these institutions on the gridiron.

The last time the Buckeyes faced a Conference USA team was against Tulsa back on Sept. 18, 2021. The Golden Hurricanes has since moved to the AAC. Ohio State won 41-20 that day, but failed to cover the 24.5-point spread as the Over (60.5) hit.

The Hilltoppers faced a Big Ten foe last season on Sept. 17, falling 33-30 in overtime at Indiana, covering a 7-point number as the Over (61.5) cashed. Since the start of the 2018 season, WKU is 0-3 SU against the Big Ten, and it is 3-0 ATS with the Over going 2-1.
