The Minnesota Vikings (14-2) took over as the best covering team this season, improving to 11-4-1 ATS with its 27-25 home win as 1-point favorites vs. the Green Bay Packers in Week 17.
The Detroit Lions (14-2), Denver Broncos (9-7) and LA Chargers (10-6) are each 11-5 ATS, while the Washington Commanders (11-5) are 10-5-1 ATS.
The Vikings visit the Lions in the final Week 18 game, Sunday at 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC / Peacock). The winner will claim the NFC North title and the NFC’s No. 1 seed, while the loser drops to the No. 5 seed. As of Thursday at 6:29 a.m. ET, BetMGM Sportsbook lists the Lions as 3-point favorites (-105).
The Tennessee Titans (3-13) are still the NFL’s top team to fade — bet against — with a 2-14 ATS mark. The Cleveland Browns (3-13) are 4-12 ATS, while the New York Jets (4-12), New York Giants (3-13) and San Francisco 49ers (6-10) are each 5-11 ATS.
The Baltimore Ravens (11-5) played an Under game in Week 17 — a 31-2 Christmas Day win at the Houston Texans. That allowed the Carolina Panthers (4-12) to tie them for the top Over record in the league as they’re both 12-4 O/U.
The Cincinnati Bengals (8-8), Dallas Cowboys (7-9), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-7) and Commanders, are each 11-5 O/U, while the Broncos are 10-5-1 O/U.
The best Under team is Houston (9-7), which is 5-11 O/U. Four teams — Atlanta Falcons (8-8), Chicago Bears (4-12), Browns and Giants are each 6-10 O/U.
