Cal Stark hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning for Tennessee and Jared Dickey hit a game-tying RBI single.
The Bulldogs won the game with five unanswered runs over the final five innings of the contest.
Drew Beam (6-3) started and pitched 4.1 innings for the Vols. He allowed eight runs (seven earned), 10 hits and one walk, while recording five strikeouts.
Tennessee will next play Austin Peay Tuesday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium (6:30 p.m. EDT, SEC Network+).
