Manny Pacquiao is appalled by recent attacks on Asians. And he wants the perpetrators to know about it.
The Filipino icon, incensed by a video showing a 65-year-old Asian woman being assaulted in New York City recently, spoke directly to violent racists when he tweeted, “Stop attacking Asians who can’t defend themselves! FIGHT ME INSTEAD.”
He captioned the tweet by saying, “We have one color in our Blood! Stop discriminating. LOVE AND PEACE TO EVERYONE!! #StopAsianHate.”

Pacquiao, who tweeted in four languages, included photos of himself with Asian victims of violence in the background.
The 42-year-old welterweight titleholder, a senator in the Philippines, hasn’t fought since he outpointed Keith Thurman to win his belt in July 2019 but is expected to return to the ring.
