Gooding & Company recently announced its stellar lineup of historic racing cars, including an ex-Le Mans Ferrari 333 SP Evoluzione, a Ferrari 857 Sport Spider driven by Carroll Shelby and Jack McAfee before ownership by artist Andy Warhol, and a Maserati Classiche certified Tipo 61 Birdcage. Also offered is the first-ever Porsche 935 built, a Ferrari 500 TR with significant period race history, and one of just three surviving 1914 Sunbeam Tourist Trophy race cars, among other selections. All of these lots will be offered for sale on Friday, August 16, and Saturday, August 17, at the Gooding & Company’s signature Pebble Beach Auction.

Disney+ UK is set to launch a new Disney+ Original unscripted documentary series “Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story,” a tale of success against adversity for the fledgling Formula 1 team in 2009. The series will premiere on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the United States on November 15.

The series stars Keanu Reeves (“John Wick” and “The Matrix”) as host and executive producer, in addition to Formula 1 legends Ross Brawn, Jenson Button, Nick Fry, Rubens Barrichello and Christian Horner. The unscripted documentary series hosted by Reeves tells the story of how Ross Brawn made the impossible happen in 2009. His understaffed, underfinanced, and independent team won the world championship taking on the biggest titans of the industry — all after purchasing the team for just £1.

Less than a week from its kickoff at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Rennsport Reunion 7 preparations are feverishly underway as tens of thousands of Porsche and motorsport enthusiasts prepare to descend on the Monterey Peninsula for four days of festivities and racing, Sept. 27-Oct.1.

The seventh iteration of the storied celebration of the Stuttgart marque suggests it will be bigger than ever with the 75th Anniversary of Porsche and the 60th anniversary of the iconic 911 driving the enthusiasm.

Icons of Porsche is the theme of this year’s event which translates specifically to iconic cars, people, and moments in Porsche’s rich history.

As expected, cars will draw much of the attention throughout the weekend with four full days of on-track action, an abundance of special cars on display, and exhibition laps of unique machines as well.
