It’s been quite a productive offseason for former Oregon Ducks offensive assistant Viane Talamaivao.
After spending the 2022 season in Eugene working as a graduate assistant on the offensive line under Adrian Klemm, Talamaivao accepted the job as OL coach for Northern Arizona this offseason. However, on Monday it was reported by On3’s Matt Zenitz that Talamaivao will actually be taking the OL coaching job for the Stanford Cardinal instead.
This is a big step up for the former Oregon assistant, who will now take over as the top OL coach on a Power 5 school in the Pac-12. Talamaivao will work under head coach Troy Taylor, who is taking over the Cardinal after David Shaw stepped down this offseason.
Stanford is expected to hire Viane Talamaivao as offensive line coach, sources tell @on3sports.

After Klemm left the Ducks for a job with the New England Patriots last month, it was briefly thought that Oregon might reach out to Talamaivao to come back to Eugene to take over as the OL coach, but Dan Lanning instead chose to bring A’lique Terry back to Oregon.
