Gurley, Georgia’s fourth all-time leading rusher, was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams with the No. 10 overall pick in 2015 and earned Offensive Rookie of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, three Pro Bowl selections and three All-Pro selections with the Rams.
Gurley returned to Georgia on a one-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons in 2020, and is now working to give back to the Atlanta community in partnership with Gatorade by surprising members of the Salvation Army Bellwood Boys and Girls Club during their flag football practice on Thursday, October 20.
Gurley and Gatorade gave the Salvation Army Bellwood Boys and Girls Club a $25,000 grant to go towards the organization’s flag football program and to further fuel Gatorade’s goal of driving equity in sport.

No. 1 Georgia is taking it to the Florida Gators right now.
After a 3-0 first half led by the Bulldogs, UGA started putting up points in the second quarter.
A James Cook rush touchdown and Kearis Jackson reception score was topped off by a 50-yard interception returned for a touchdown by linebacker Nakobe Dean.
That put Georgia up 24-0 at the end of the first half .

No. 1 Georgia is rolling all over Florida right now in Jacksonville.
It was 3-0 UGA at the end of the first quarter and then the Bulldogs started putting points on the board.
First, it was a James Cook 11-yard touchdown run, then a 36-yard touchdown pass from Stetson Bennett to Kearis Jackson.
To top it all off right at the end of the half, Georgia linebacker Nakobe Dean took an Anthony Richardson interception 50 yards to the house to put the Dawgs up 24-0.

No. 1 Georgia took a 10-0 lead after running back James Cook’s 11-yard touchdown run after Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson coughed one up to the Bulldogs defense.

The first quarter was a slug fest. Both teams missed a field goal and every other drive ended has ended with a punt, except UGA’s last possession, an 11 play drive that took up 63 yards and ended with a 21-yard field goal from Jack Podlesny.

No. 1 Georgia looks to avenge last year’s 44-28 loss to Florida and move to 8-0 on the season.
Both teams have had two weeks to prepare after a bye in Week 8, which should help make for a great game in one of college football’s biggest rivalry matchups.
