In a women’s weight fight on the main card, Ji Yeon Kim and Priscila Cachoeira meet Saturday at UFC Vegas 49 – also known as UFC Fight Night 202 – at the UFC’s APEX Facility in Las Vegas. Below, we analyze the UFC Vegas 49: Kim vs. Cachoeira odds and lines, with picks and predictions.
The card can be viewed on ESPN+ with the prelims starting at 4 p.m. ET and the main card at 7 p.m.
Kim takes the walk to the octagon with a seven-inch reach advantage over the Brazilian challenger. She also holds a 5.04-to-3.82 significant strikes landed per minute.
The South Korean fighter is looking to turn things around after a pair of unanimous-decision losses since her KO/TKO win over Nadia Kassem at UFC 243 in Oct. 2019. All four of Kim’s losses at the UFC level have come via decision and just one of her seven bouts has resulted in a finish.
Cachoeira, a.k.a. “Zombie Girl”, is looking to bounce back after getting submitted by Gillian Robertson last time out at UFC 269 in Dec. Her ground game hasn’t been good, going 0-2 via submission in her pro career, both at the UFC level. She is 6-0 via KO/TKO in 14 career bouts, including knockouts of Gina Mazany and Shana Dobson in the UFC. However, this fight represents a big step up in competition.

UFC Vegas 49 Kim vs. Cachoeira: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Records: Kim (9-4-2) | Cachoeira (10-4-0)
Fight result (2-way line or money line)
KIM (-175) is a little pricey, but she is a good bet to bounce back against Cachoeira. The fact she holds such a tremendous reach advantage will keep the challenger Cachoeira at a safe distance.
I think Kim, a.k.a. “Firefist”, has the skills to get it done and score a much-needed win via knockout. However, the better play is taking KIM BY POINTS (+130). It’s still a good value at plus money when you consider the fact just one of her seven fights at the UFC level has resulted in a finish.
Over/Under (O/U)
Play YES: FIGHT TO GO THE DISTANCE (-160), which is a good value based upon Kim’s UFC history, as well as the fact Cachoeira has managed to go the distance in two of her last five fights. She likely will go into this one looking for the knockout, which is her specialty, recording six KO/TKO wins in 14 career professional bouts. However, with a seven-inch reach disadvantage, she won’t be able to get close to Kim.
