UFC on ESPN 25: Chan Sung Jung vs. Dan Ige odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 25 fight between Chan Sung Jung and Dan Ige with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a featherweight bout in Saturday’s main event, Chan Sung Jung and Dan Ige meet at UFC on ESPN 25 at the UFC’s APEX Facility. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 25 Jung vs. Ige odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims kick off on ESPN2/ESPN+ at 4 p.m. ET, with the main card starting at 7 p.m. ET.

Jung, a.k.a. “The Korean Zombie”, heads into this headline event as a slight underdog. He is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Brian Ortega in the main event on Oct. 17, 2020, and is a rather ordinary 3-3 across the past six bouts.

Ige has been on the rise lately. Yes, he had a unanimous decision loss to Calvin Kattar in the main event on July 15, 2020 on Fight Island, but he bounced back nicely with a 22-second thrashing of Gavin Tucker last time out on March 13, 2021.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Chan Sung Jung +110 (bet $100 to win $110) | Dan Ige -135 (bet $135 to win $100)
  • Over/Under: 4.5 rounds (Over -115 | Under -105)
  • Will the fight go the distance? (Yes -105 | No -115)

UFC on ESPN 25 Chan Sung Jung vs. Dan Ige: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Jung 16-6-0 | Ige 15-3-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

IGE (-135) has been solid across the past three years, rising up the ranks with seven victories across his last eight fights. He has three finishes, including two KO/TKOs and a submission win, but he usually takes his time and is rather calculating, wowing the judges with the technical aspects.

Over/Under (O/U)

The Korean Zombie doesn’t fool around, and his decision last time out was the first time the judges were involved in one of his bouts since April 24, 2010 when he was fighting at WEC 48.

While Ige has gone the distance on a semi-regular basis lately, this will be a more up-tempo fight, with IGE BY KO/TKO, DQ OR SUBMISSION (+275) the better play than Ige by decision.

In addition, I like UNDER 4.5 ROUNDS (-105) for a little more value than simply playing No (-115): Will the fight go the distance?, although either one should be a fine wager here.

UFC on ESPN 25: Aleksei Oleinik vs. Serghei Spivac odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 25 fight between Aleksei Oleinik and Serghei Spivac with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a heavyweight bout on Saturday’s main card, Aleksei Oleinik and Serghei Spivac meet at UFC on ESPN 25 at the UFC’s APEX Facility. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 25 Oleinik vs. Spivac odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims kick off on ESPN2/ESPN+ at 4 p.m. ET, with the main card starting at 7 p.m. ET.

The veteran Oleinik heads into this one with a 20-pound disparity, but a two-inch reach advantage. He will try to get Spivac to the mat as quickly as possible as he holds a 2.38-to-0.31 submission average advantage.

Spivac posted a second-round KO/TKO over Jared Vanderaa last time out on Feb. 20, 2021. He has won two straight, and three of five, since arriving at the UFC level.

UFC on ESPN 25 Aleksei Oleinik vs. Serghei Spivac: Odds and lines

  • Fight result (2-way line): Aleksei Oleinik +190 (bet $100 to win $190) | Serghei Spivac -235 (bet $235 to win $100)
  • Over/Under: 1.5 rounds (Over +140 | Under -165)
  • Will the fight go the distance? (Yes +400 | No -555)

UFC on ESPN 25 Aleksei Oleinik vs. Serghei Spivac: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Oleinik 59-15-1 | Spivac 12-2-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

The Moldovan fighter Spivac (-235) is a little too expensive for my tastes, costing more than two times your potential return. That’s not a good play against a veteran like OLEINIK (+190), who is a much better play.

The veteran Oleinik comes in on a two-bout losing streak, and he has never lost three fights in a row in 75 career professional bouts. It’s not going to start now, either.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

The 43-year-old Oleinik is a freak of nature who just continues to show up and cash checks. “The Boa Constrictor” has won 46 times via submission in his career, and that makes OLEINIK BY KO/TKO, DQ OR SUBMISSION (+240) quite an attractive play. That’s a better play than going with Under 2.5 Rounds (-400), which is just too expensive, or No (-555): Will the fight go the distance?, which is even steeper.

UFC on ESPN 25: Marlon Vera vs. Davey Grant odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 25 fight between Marlon Vera and Davey Grant with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a bantamweight bout on Saturday’s main card, Marlon Vera and Davey Grant meet at UFC on ESPN 25 at the UFC’s APEX Facility. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 25 Vera vs. Grant odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims kick off on ESPN2/ESPN+ at 4 p.m. ET, with the main card starting at 7 p.m. ET.

The Ecuadorian fighter Vera is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Jose Aldo last time out on Dec. 19, 2020, and has alternated wins and losses in each of his past four bouts.

Interestingly, all six of his losses at the UFC level have been by unanimous decision, while each of his last eight wins has been by stoppage.

Grant is coming off his second straight KO/TKO win, dropping Jonathan Martinez in the second round on March 13, 2021. He enters the octagon on a three-bout win streak after pair of submission losses.

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 8:19 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Marlon Vera -225 (bet $225 to win $100) | Davey Grant +180 (bet $100 to win $180)
  • Over/Under: 2.5 rounds (Over -120 | Under +100)
  • Will the fight go the distance? (Yes +100 | No -120)

UFC on ESPN 25 Marlon Vera vs. Davey Grant: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Vera 16-7-1 | Grant 13-4-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

GRANT (+180) enters the octagon as a huge value, as you have a chance to nearly double up if he gets the finish. He is riding high on a three-bout win streak, and the chance to get a stoppage is real.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

GRANT BY KO/TKO, DQ OR SUBMISSION (+375) on the 5-way line is a tremendous value, and it should not be passed up. In addition, going with UNDER 2.5 ROUNDS (+100) at even money is also a decent play, and you do not have to specify a winner there. Also, play NO (-120): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE? for a win.

UFC on ESPN 25: Julian Erosa vs. Seungwoo Choi odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 25 fight between Julian Erosa and Seungwoo Choi with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a featherweight bout on Saturday’s main card, Julian Erosa and Seungwoo Choi meet at UFC on ESPN 25 at the UFC’s APEX Facility. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 25 Erosa vs. Choi odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims kick off on ESPN2/ESPN+ at 4 p.m. ET, with the main card starting at 7 p.m. ET.

Erosa has won each of his two fights since returning to the UFC after being dropped following an 0-3 run in his second stint with the promotion. He picked up an impressive 56-second KO/TKO win over Nate Landwehr last time out on Feb. 20, 2021.

Choi has also won his past two fights after an 0-2 start to his UFC career. He posted unanimous-decision wins over Suman Mokhtarian in December 2019 and Youssef Zalal his last time out on Feb. 6, 2021.

UFC on ESPN 25 Julian Erosa vs. Seungwoo Choi: Odds and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 7:31 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Julian Erosa +125 (bet $100 to win $125) | Seungwoo Choi (bet $150 to win $100)
  • Over/Under: 2.5 rounds (Over -135 | Under +110)
  • Will the fight go the distance? (Yes -125 | No +105)

UFC on ESPN 25 Julian Erosa vs. Seungwoo Choi: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Erosa 25-9-0 | Choi 9-3-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

EROSA (+125) is worth a look as a short ‘dog in this one. The southpaw has picked up wins via KO/TKO and submission in his past two fights, showing off his tremendous versatility.

This one against Choi has Fight of the Night potential, that’s how close it will be. However, look for the southpaw, who holds a 5.07-to-3.17 significant strikes landed per minute advantage, to get the job done.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

Taking the underdog is a little against the grain, and going with NO (+105): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE? is also going against the slightly more popular opinion. Erosa will be looking for the finish, as Choi has a penchant for hanging around and trying to impress the judges with his style. Erosa doesn’t want to leave it to the judges.

UFC on ESPN 25: Wellington Turman vs. Bruno Silva odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 25 fight between Wellington Turman and Bruno Silva, with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a middleweight bout on Saturday’s main card, Wellington Turman and Bruno Silva meet at UFC on ESPN 25 – also known as UFC Vegas 29 and UFC Fight Night 190 – at the UFC’s APEX Facility. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 25 Turman vs. Silva odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims kick off on ESPN2/ESPN+ at 4 p.m. ET, with the main card starting at 7 p.m. ET.

Turman steps into the octagon with losses in two of his past three fights since arriving at the UFC level. That includes a first-round KO/TKO loss to Andrew Sanchez last time out on Aug. 8, 2020.

Silva will be making his UFC debut, and it’s his first fight since Nov. 2, 2018 when he topped Artem Frolov for the title at M-1 Challenge 98. That’s because the UFC’s official anti-doping partner found the anabolic steroid boldenone in his system, leading to a two-year suspension.

Records: Turman 16-4-0 | Silva 19-6-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

SILVA (-125) enters this fight with a huge chip on his shoulder and a lot to prove. So that’s a dangerous spot for Turman (+105). After a two-year suspension, there is a little bit of worry about rust as far as Silva is concerned, but he should come out with a purpose.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

Cardio will be a bit of an issue for Silva after such a long layoff. While I think he gets the win, I think it is going to take a little bit of time for him to get his sea legs. As such, play YES (+135): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE? for a solid value.

In addition, I love SILVA ON POINTS (+400) as it’s just too good of a value to pass up.

UFC on ESPN 25: Dhiego Lima vs. Matt Brown odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 25 fight between Dhiego Lima and Matt Brown with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a welterweight bout on Saturday’s main card, Dhiego Lima and Matt Brown meet at UFC on ESPN 25 – also known as UFC Vegas 29 and UFC Fight Night 190 – at the UFC’s APEX Facility. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 25 Lima vs. Brown odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims kick off on ESPN2/ESPN+ at 4 p.m. ET, with the main card starting at 7 p.m. ET.

Lima is looking to bounce back after a unanimous-decision loss at UFC 258 against Belal Muhammad. It was his third consecutive fight to go the distance.

Brown has dropped each of his past two fights, including a unanimous-decision loss to Carlos Condit Jan. 16, 2021. Going the distance was a rarity, as he had finished inside the distance in his seven prior fights.

  • Over/Under: 2.5 rounds (Over -125 | Under -105)
  • Will the fight go the distance? (Yes -115 | No -105)

UFC on ESPN 25 Dhiego Lima vs. Matt Brown: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Lima 17-8-0 | Brown 24-18-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

LIMA (-185) is just a little over my personal money line limit of -180, but sometimes you have to make an exception. I like Lima, who is eight years younger than his counterpart, to send Brown (+150) out to pasture with his eighth loss in the past 11 outings.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

In addition to a Lima victory, I like the YES (-115): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE? As such, it’s also a good idea to play LIMA ON POINTS (+175) for a tremendous value.
