Jung, a.k.a. “The Korean Zombie”, heads into this headline event as a slight underdog. He is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Brian Ortega in the main event on Oct. 17, 2020, and is a rather ordinary 3-3 across the past six bouts.

Ige has been on the rise lately. Yes, he had a unanimous decision loss to Calvin Kattar in the main event on July 15, 2020 on Fight Island, but he bounced back nicely with a 22-second thrashing of Gavin Tucker last time out on March 13, 2021.

IGE (-135) has been solid across the past three years, rising up the ranks with seven victories across his last eight fights. He has three finishes, including two KO/TKOs and a submission win, but he usually takes his time and is rather calculating, wowing the judges with the technical aspects.

Over/Under (O/U)

The Korean Zombie doesn’t fool around, and his decision last time out was the first time the judges were involved in one of his bouts since April 24, 2010 when he was fighting at WEC 48.

While Ige has gone the distance on a semi-regular basis lately, this will be a more up-tempo fight, with IGE BY KO/TKO, DQ OR SUBMISSION (+275) the better play than Ige by decision.

In addition, I like UNDER 4.5 ROUNDS (-105) for a little more value than simply playing No (-115): Will the fight go the distance?, although either one should be a fine wager here.

Spivac posted a second-round KO/TKO over Jared Vanderaa last time out on Feb. 20, 2021. He has won two straight, and three of five, since arriving at the UFC level.

UFC on ESPN 25 Aleksei Oleinik vs. Serghei Spivac: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

The Moldovan fighter Spivac (-235) is a little too expensive for my tastes, costing more than two times your potential return. That’s not a good play against a veteran like OLEINIK (+190), who is a much better play.

The veteran Oleinik comes in on a two-bout losing streak, and he has never lost three fights in a row in 75 career professional bouts. It’s not going to start now, either.

Over/Under (O/U)

The 43-year-old Oleinik is a freak of nature who just continues to show up and cash checks. “The Boa Constrictor” has won 46 times via submission in his career, and that makes OLEINIK BY KO/TKO, DQ OR SUBMISSION (+240) quite an attractive play. That’s a better play than going with Under 2.5 Rounds (-400), which is just too expensive, or No (-555): Will the fight go the distance?, which is even steeper.

Grant is coming off his second straight KO/TKO win, dropping Jonathan Martinez in the second round on March 13, 2021. He enters the octagon on a three-bout win streak after pair of submission losses.

GRANT BY KO/TKO, DQ OR SUBMISSION (+375) on the 5-way line is a tremendous value, and it should not be passed up. In addition, going with UNDER 2.5 ROUNDS (+100) at even money is also a decent play, and you do not have to specify a winner there. Also, play NO (-120): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE? for a win.

EROSA (+125) is worth a look as a short ‘dog in this one. The southpaw has picked up wins via KO/TKO and submission in his past two fights, showing off his tremendous versatility.

This one against Choi has Fight of the Night potential, that’s how close it will be. However, look for the southpaw, who holds a 5.07-to-3.17 significant strikes landed per minute advantage, to get the job done.

Over/Under (O/U)

Taking the underdog is a little against the grain, and going with NO (+105): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE? is also going against the slightly more popular opinion. Erosa will be looking for the finish, as Choi has a penchant for hanging around and trying to impress the judges with his style. Erosa doesn’t want to leave it to the judges.

SILVA (-125) enters this fight with a huge chip on his shoulder and a lot to prove. So that’s a dangerous spot for Turman (+105). After a two-year suspension, there is a little bit of worry about rust as far as Silva is concerned, but he should come out with a purpose.

Over/Under (O/U)

Cardio will be a bit of an issue for Silva after such a long layoff. While I think he gets the win, I think it is going to take a little bit of time for him to get his sea legs. As such, play YES (+135): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE? for a solid value.

In addition, I love SILVA ON POINTS (+400) as it’s just too good of a value to pass up.
