The UFC welterweight stopped [autotag]Muslim Salikhov[/autotag] on the main card of Saturday’s UFC on ABC 3 at UBS Arena in Elmont, N.Y. The official stoppage came at the 4:38 mark of Round 2.
Jingliang (19-7 MMA, 11-5 UFC) looked to be behind on the scorecards, as Salikhov (18-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC) had a good amount of success in the first round. However, “The Leech” came back in the second when he wobbled Salikhov with a right hand and then patiently picked his shots to get the stoppage win.

With this victory, Jingliang bounced back from a quick submission loss to UFC star Khamzat Chimaev back at UFC 267 in October 2021. The Chinese fighter is 2-2 in his past four trips to the octagon.

Amanda Lemos countered Michelle Waterson’s takedown attempt with a slick submission in the UFC on ABC 3 co-headliner.
ELMONT, N.Y. – [autotag]Amanda Lemos[/autotag] rebounded from a main event loss in a big way on Saturday when she defeated perennial contender [autotag]Michelle Waterson[/autotag] at UFC on ABC 3.
Lemos (12-2-1 MMA, 6-2 UFC) showed her defeat to Jessica Andrade earlier this year was just a mere bump in the road when she scored a second-round submission win over Waterson (18-10 MMA, 6-6 UFC) in a key strawweight division matchup at UBS Arena.
The Brazilian used her slick grappling to catch “The Karate Hottie” in a guillotine choke and forced the tap at the 1:48 mark of Round 2.

Both women came out of the gate looking to find their range in the striking exchanges. Waterson had some troubles breaking through the range and defense of her bigger opponent, but managed to neutralize that challenge with a takedown inside the final 90 seconds, where she rode out the majority of the round from top position.
With the performance, Lemos proved she belongs in the upper tier at 115 pounds. After putting together a five-fight winning streak, she got the step up against former champ Andrade at UFC Fight Night 205 in April. It didn’t go her way, but Lemos picked up the pieces and rebounds with a notable win over Waterson.
In the second round, Waterson waited for her chance to sneak in another takedown attempt, but this time Lemos was ready. She quickly synched in the guillotine choke and fell to her back. Lemos was just about to roll over into mount when Waterson tapped, and she let go. There was a brief moment of confusion because the referee didn’t see the tap and stop the fight, but Waterson acknowledged her error and graciously accepted the defeat.

After getting worked over on the feet through the first and into the second round, Schnell (16-6 MMA, 6-4 UFC) turned the tables on Mudaerji (16-5 MMA, 3-2 UFC) and landed shots of his own before locking in a savage triangle choke to finish the flyweight bout at USB Arena on Long Island.

Shane Burgos and Charles Jourdain put on a spectacular battle as expected at UFC on ABC 3.

The two fan-friendly UFC featherweights had a spectacular fight on the main card of Saturday’s UFC on ABC 3 at UBS Arena in Elmont, N.Y. In the end, Burgos did enough to get his hand raised in a very competitive bout that was ruled a majority decision win for the New York native.
It was a bout in which Burgos developed an early lead by winning the first two rounds in two of the judges’ scorecards, but then had to survive the striking outpouring by Jourdain late in the third.
