CHIESA (+140) is a tremendous value as a moderate underdog, and the veteran will get it done against Brady (-180). This will be Brady’s most challenging opponent to date in the UFC.

The southpaw Chiesa will look to use a 3.5-inch reach advantage to keep Brady at a distance, picking and choosing his spots to get close. He also holds a 3.62-to-2.69 takedown average, although both are rather even in the wrestling department. Chiesa’s best bet is to go toe-to-toe, keeping this fight upright, trying to outpoint Brady.

CHIESA ON POINTS (+300) is worth a roll of the dice for a chance to triple up if this fight goes the distance. He has won three of the past four fights, all via unanimous decision.

In addition, play YES (+102): FIGHT TO GO THE DISTANCE, which is great value at plus-money. OVER 2.5 ROUNDS (-135) is a strong value play as well.

In a women’s bantamweight bout in the main event, Ketlen Vieira and Miesha Tate meet Saturday at UFC Fight Night 198 – also known as UFC Vegas 43. Below, we analyze the UFC Fight Night 198: Vieira vs. Tate odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The card can be viewed on ESPN+ with the prelims at 3 p.m. ET and the main card at 6 p.m. ET.

Vieira heads to the octagon with a three-inch reach advantage over Tate. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist is looking to bounce back after a unanimous-decision setback to Yana Kunitskaya last time out Feb. 20. After starting her pro career 10-0, including 4-0 in her first four UFC fights, Vieira is 1-2 across the past three bouts.

Tate, a.k.a. “Cupcake”, returned to the UFC with a third-round KO/TKO win over Marion Reneau on July 17. The 35-year-old is back and in a good mental space after taking time away from the octagon. She’ll be looking to get this fight to the canvas where she can use her above-average wrestling. Tate leads 1.53-to-0.51 in submission average, one big advantage in her column in what are fairly identical career stats between the two fights.

TATE (-108) is the former champ, while Vieira (-116) is an up-and-comer and the future at this weight. But Tate knows how to pull out a close fight, and she will be able to do enough to wow the judges and get back on track for a title shot in her second go-around in the UFC.

Over/Under (O/U)

TATE ON POINTS (+185) is your best bet for Method of Victory bet. She’s a wily veteran who knows what it takes to win a close fight and do enough to get valuable points.
