SCHNELL (-165) is worth a look in this battle against Bontorin (+140). He heads into this one with a three-inch height and three-inch reach advantage. In his seven fights at the UFC level, he has posted 4.20 significant strikes landed per minute to just 2.19 for Bontorin. If the latter is to pull the mild upset, Bontorin will need to get the fight to the canvas.

In 19 career professional bouts, Bontorin has 11 submission wins and one loss via tap. However, the Brazilian has lost two straight fights, including a KO/TKO last time out against Kai Kara-France.

Over/Under (O/U)

Schnell will look to make this a brawl, trying to keep the fight upright so he can tee off on Bontorin. The lean here is to NO (-120): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE?, with SCHNELL BY KO/TKO OR DQ (+360) on the 7-way line for method of victory. UNDER 2.5 ROUNDS (-105) is also a value play here.

Lastly, if you were to bet SCHNELL IN ROUND 1 (+500), SCHNELL IN ROUND 2 (+800) and SCHNELL IN ROUND 3 (+1400) on round betting. You can lose if Schnell wins on points, or if Bontorin wins, obviously. And even if Schnell wins in one of three rounds, you will lose two ends. FERGUSON (+135) is looking to bounce back after a two-bout losing skid. Although losses to Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje is certainly nothing to be ashamed about. His last win was June 8, 2019, against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone at UFC 238, winning by TKO – Doctor’s Stoppage. Four of Ferguson’s past five fights have ended via stoppage.

As far as Dariush (-160) is concerned, the southpaw heads into this one with a 4.5-inch reach disadvantage, and Ferguson has a 5.46-to-4.00 significant strikes landed per minute advantage, too. Ferguson will be able to get it done as long as he can avoid Dariush getting him to the canvas.

Over/Under (O/U)

We’ve seen four of the past five fights for Ferguson end via stoppage, while the Assyrian fighter Dariush has also seen four of his past five fights end via stoppage, too. As such, NO (+115): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE? looks like a good value. UNDER 2.5 ROUNDS (+145) is also worth a roll of the dice.

OLIVEIRA (-140) heads into this one with eight consecutive victories, including topping Tony Ferguson by unanimous decision at UFC 256 last time out. The only surprising thing about that fight was that the judges were involved, snapping a 14-bout string of stoppages.

Oliveira will look to use his three-inch reach advantage to keep Chandler at bay. The latter made his UFC debut with a first-round KO/TKO win over Dan Hooker at UFC 257, picking up right where he left off when he finished up at Bellator. Each of Chandler’s past four fights have ended in first-round KO/TKOs with three wins.

Over/Under (O/U)

This title fight should be a good one, and Chandler will finally have met his match. Oliveira will retain his strap with a convincing victory. OLIVEIRA BY KO/TKO, DQ OR SUBMISSION (+115) is a nice play, and playing UNDER 2.5 ROUNDS (-190) is worth a look as well. Win or lose, Chandler hasn’t gone deep into fights in quite a while.

I also like OLIVEIRA BY KO/TKO OR DQ IN ROUND 1 (+1300), OLIVEIRA BY KO/TKO OR DQ IN ROUND 2 (+1700) for added value. Don’t go crazy, but toss them onto your betting card with small-unit plays. Yes, you’ll lose one end even if he comes through with a knockout in either of the first two rounds. But you’ll be very far ahead if that’s when he wins and by that method of victory.
