Two of the top fighters in the lightweight division meet in the octagon in Abu Dhabi Saturday, as Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor go toe-to-toe in the main event of UFC 257. “The Hangman” Hooker (20-9) is the slight favorite over “Iron” Chandler (21-5). Hooker is sixth in the lightweight division while Chandler is unranked.

Jessica Eye (+100) vs. Joanne Calderwood (-120)

“JoJo” Calderwood (14-5) has a slight edge in a women’s flyweight bout with “Evil” Eye (15-8, 1 NC). A $10 bet on the sixth-ranked Eye at even-money would return a profit of $10.

Matt Frevola (+135) vs. Ottman Azaitar (-160)

The undefeated “Bulldozer” Azaitar (13-0) is a modest betting favorite against “The Steamrolla” Frevola (8-1-1) in another lightweight contest. Both fighters are unranked.

Marina Rodriguez (+260) vs. Amanda Ribas (-350)

Ribas (10-1) is the biggest favorite on the main card with an implied win probability of 77.78% in this women’s strawweight fight. An upset win by Rodriguez (21-1-2) would return a profit of $26 on a $10 bet, but her implied win probability is just 27.78%. It would take a $35 bet on Ribas to turn a profit of $10.

UFC 257 betting odds: Prelims

Arman Tsarukyan (-295) vs. Nasrat Haqparast (+240)

Both Tsarukyan (15-2) and Haqparast (12-3) are unranked in the lightweight division. Tsarukyan is the betting favorite despite giving up a 3-inch height advantage to Haqparast.

Brad Tavares (-135) vs. Antonio Carlos Junior (+110)

Tavares (17-7) is the No. 14 challenger in the middleweight division and is a slight favorite against the unranked Carlos Junior (11-4, 1 NC). A $10 bet on the underdog from Brazil would return a profit of $11 with an upset win.

Juliana Pena (+110) vs. Sara McMann (-130)

A women’s bantamweight bout sees the seventh-ranked Pena (10-4) listed as the underdog against the more experienced but ninth-ranked McMann (12-5).

Khalil Rountree Jr. (-345) vs. Marcin Prachnio (+270)

The only light heavyweight bout on the card features Rountree (9-4, 1 NC) as a heavy favorite against Prachnio (13-5) with both fighters unranked. It would take a $34.50 bet on Rountree to earn a profit of $10.

Andrew Sanchez (+120) vs. Makhmud Muradov (-145)

Muradov (24-6) is the betting favorite in a middleweight bout against Sanchez (13-5). A $10 bet on Muradov would return a profit of $6.90 with a victory.

Nik Lentz (+385) vs. Movsar Evloev (-530)

In a catchweight bout in the early prelims, Evloev (13-0) is the heaviest betting favorite on the entire UFC 257 card against Lentz (30-11-2, 1 NC). Evloev has an implied win probability of 84.13% and a $10 bet would net a profit of just $1.89. An upset win by Lentz would return a profit of $38.50 on just a $10 bet but with an implied win probability of only 20.62%.

Amir Albazi (-105) vs. Zhalgas Zhumagulov (-115)

The night begins with Albazi (13-1) as a very slight underdog against Zhumagulov (13-4) in a flyweight battle. Albazi is the No. 15 challenger in the division and Zhumagulov is unranked.
