[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The No. 10 Oregon Ducks (9-0, 1-0 Big Ten) welcome the UCLA Bruins (7-1, 1-0) to Matthew Knight Arena Sunday. Tip is set for 6 p.m. ET (Big Ten Network). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s college basketball odds around the UCLA vs. Oregon odds, and make our expert college basketball picks and predictions.

Oregon is No. 10 in the USA TODAY Sports Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll. It is coming off a 68-60 road win over the USC Trojans Wednesday, closing as a 6-point road favorite in its first Big Ten action. The Ducks beat the No. 12 Alabama Crimson Tide 83-81 to win the Players Era Festival on Nov. 30. They are 4-0 against the spread (ATS) in their last 4 games and 6-3 ATS on the season.

The Bruins, who have closed as a double-digit favorite in all but one game this season, beat the Washington Huskies 69-58 Tuesday, failing to cover as a 12-point home favorite. UCLA’s lone loss of the season was against New Mexico, dropping that Nov. 8 competition 72-64. It is 5-3 ATS on the season.

UCLA at Oregon picks and predictions

Prediction

Oregon 70, UCLA 65

Moneyline

PASS.

The Ducks are the better play here, and while their moneyline does pose a reasonable value, the spread is the better suggestion. Oregon has won all 4 home games by double figures.

Against the spread

BET OREGON -3.5 (-110).

The Bruins have yet to be tested this season, and in the lone game in which they were a single-digit favorite, they lost by 8. They have also yet to play on the road and are 0-1 ATS away from home.

The Ducks are 2-2 ATS at home and are 3-0 ATS on a neutral court. They are 4-3 ATS as a favorite and 2-1 ATS as a single-digit favorite. Considering those trends, back OREGON -3.5 (-110).

Over/Under

BET UNDER 140.5 (-110).

If there’s one thing both teams can agree on, it is the Under. The Ducks are 1-3 O/U at home, 0-2 O/U in their last 2 games, and 4-5 O/U on the season. They have allowed 70 or fewer points in 6 of 9 games.

The Bruins are 1-7 O/U and have allowed fewer than 60 points in all but 2 games and have yet to allow more than 72 points in a game. UCLA has scored 64 and 69 in games in which it was a favorite of 15 or fewer points.

Take UNDER 140.5 (-110).

UCLA at Oregon odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s UCLA at Oregon odds and lines, with college basketball expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The No. 7 UCLA Bruins (20-4, 11-2 Pac-12) visit the Oregon Ducks (15-10, 9-5) in Eugene Saturday at 10 p.m. ET (ESPN). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the UCLA vs. Oregon odds, and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.

Rankings courtesy of the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.

UCLA continues to the second leg of its Oregon swing after defeating Oregon State 62-47 as a 14.5-point favorite Thursday. The Bruins will look to break a recent streak of 7 losses in their last 8 trips to Eugene. By doing so, the Bruins will continue to remain ahead of Arizona in the Pac-12 with games coming up against Stanford, Cal and Utah.

Oregon, after a slow start to the season which included a 69-56 home loss to UC-Irvine in the 2nd game, has started to get back into contention in recent weeks. Its last game, a 78-60 win as a 5-point home favorite vs. USC Thursday, gave The Ducks have won 2 in a row and 4 of 5.

UCLA won the 1st meeting vs. Oregon this season, claiming a 65-56 home victory but failing to cover as a 10-point favorite with the Under (140) hitting.

UCLA at Oregon picks and predictions

Prediction

UCLA 68, Oregon 63

Moneyline

BET UCLA (-140).

Normally, taking the favorite on the ML is not excellent value, but UCLA has struggled in Eugene losing 7 of its last 8 trips.

I would not make a full wager on this number. I would save some for the spread or the total, but a small wager on UCLA is not a bad play here and is a good parlay addition.

Stream select live college basketball games and full replays: Get ESPN+

Against the spread

BACK UCLA -2.5 (-110).

UCLA is coming off Thursday’s solid win at Oregon State and will look to continue its winning ways Saturday in this one.

Although the Bruins have not found much success in recent trips, this game will be different for them. They have an elite team and will look to dominate an inferior squad in the Ducks.

The Bruins are 5-1 ATS in its last 6 games after a straight-up win. They are also the far superior team.

The 2.5-point line is due to UCLA’s recent struggles at Oregon, but the tide will be different Saturday.

BET UCLA -2.5 (-110) to cover.

Over/Under

TAKE UNDER 134.5 (-115).

Following an ATS win, the Bruins have gone Under in 8 of their last 9 outings. UCLA has also gone Under the total in 10 of its last 13 games overall and 9 of 11 coming off a straight-up victory.

UCLA will control the tempo and will be able to slow down the game to its liking.

UCLA at Oregon odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Thursday’s UCLA at Oregon odds and lines, with college basketball expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The No. 13 UCLA Bruins (20-5, 12-4 Pac-12) visit Matthew Knight Arena Thursday to take on the Oregon Ducks (17-10, 10-6). Tip-off is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the UCLA vs. Oregon odds and lines, and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.

Oregon has lost three of its last four games, one of which was an embarrassing home 78-64 defeat by California in which the Ducks were 14.5-point favorites.

They’ve since lost to Arizona (84-81 Saturday) and Arizona State (81-57 last Thursday) while taking down Washington State 62-59 at home Feb. 14. Oregon is 10-16 against the spread (ATS).

UCLA has been banged up with starting G Tyger Campbell still day-to-day with a shoulder injury. The Bruins have covered three straight outings and are 7-3 ATS over their last 10 games.

Despite having had a relatively disappointing season, UCLA is still 20-5 straight up, 6-3 on the road, and 13-11-1 ATS. UCLA is 4-4 ATS as an away favorite.

UCLA at Oregon odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

UCLA 74, Oregon 69

Money line

PASS.

I can understand a sprinkle on the Oregon money line, but it is a side that isn’t playing well as of late and needs to re-prove itself. Oregon is 2-3 straight up against ranked opponents.

Against the spread

“LEAN” to UCLA -2.5 (-112).

While home court advantage is important, Oregon is just 11-4 at home this season. When it comes to covering, the Ducks are just 6-9 ATS on their home hardwood.

Despite a 6-3 straight-up record as visitors, the Bruins are 4-5 ATS on the road. UCLA actually lost 84-81 in overtime as a 9.5-point home favorite against Oregon Jan.13.

Beating a team twice, especially in conference play, is easier said than done.

Oregon also shoots the third most triples in conference play. UCLA has the best opponents’ three-point percentage, forcing opponents to shoot a conference-best 29.8% from deep.

The Bruins shot just 28% from deep in the first battle of the two teams. Expect them to improve to their mean and cover this spread.

Over/Under

BET on the OVER 136.5 (-115).

Oregon is 16-11 O/U this season, the second-best Over record in the Pac-12. It is also 11-5 O/U in conference games.

While UCLA hasn’t been great at covering the over, it was able to break down Oregon in the first matchup between the two programs. It was 73-73 at the end of regulation and ended 84-81.

Neither team shot over 43% (UCLA 39.7%, Oregon 42.9%) in that first battle and both knockdown more than 44% of their shots in conference play (44.2% UCLA, 45% Oregon) this season.

The Over should be the better play here if both sides stick to their averages.

The Ducks are No. 24 in the USA TODAY Sports Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll.

UCLA at Oregon: Three things to know

  1. UCLA lost to then-No. 19 Ohio State 77-70 as a 2-point favorite on a neutral floor in Cleveland Saturday. The Bruins led 63-61 with 6:22 to go before Ohio State scored the next 5 points and never relinquished the lead to snap UCLA’s 5-game win streak. Bruins junior F Cody Riley scored a game-high 15 points, while sophomore G Johnny Juzang added 13 points in the loss. Sophomore G Jamie Jaquez Jr.’s 13.7 points per game lead four Bruins in double figures.
  2. Oregon enters on a 6-game win streak after dropping its season opener. The Ducks’ most recent victory saw senior G Chris Duarte score a game-high 21 points in an 80-41 rout of visiting Portland Saturday. The Ducks defense stood out, holding the Pilots to 21% shooting (12-for-56). Senior F Eugene Omoruyi leads the Ducks with 18.1 PPG. Unfortunately for Oregon, sophomore C N’Faly Dante (8.2 PPG, 5.8 RPG) suffered a season-ending knee injury in the previous game.
  3. Oregon won the only matchup between the two Pac-12 rivals last season. Behind Duarte’s game-high 24 points, the Ducks snapped a three-game skid in the series with a 96-75 home victory Jan. 26 – they were 12-point favorites. The game was the difference in Oregon winning the Pac-12 last season at 13-5, one game ahead of UCLA, which was 12-6.

UCLA at Oregon: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Oregon 77, UCLA 70

Money line (ML)

PASS. I’m calling for an Oregon win, but I’ll avoid the -175 juice and lay the points below.

Against the spread (ATS)

Back OREGON -3 (-120). The Ducks have won their last 26 at home, including 4-0 this season and 17-0 last season. They are 158-20 all time at Matthew Knight Arena since it opened in 2011, including 70-16 in Pac-12 play.

ATS records: UCLA 5-2 | Oregon 4-3

Over/Under (O/U)

The OVER 139.0 (-110) is the STRONGEST PLAY – 1½ times your usual wager. The Bruins average 77.3 PPG, while the Ducks average 77.4 PPG. The O/U is 5-0 in the last 5 head-to-head meetings. Both teams are 4-3 O/U this season.
