UCLA opening NIL store

UCLA opening an NIL store.

The UCLA Bruins athletic department announced they would be one of 24 schools across the country participating in a new NIL store.

At the store, you can find a throwback collection of UCLA Bruins apparel. The store is to help benefit current athletes through the NIL.

One of the biggest pieces at the UCLA store is the throwback jersey. The jersey is a timeless mesh body emblematic of the 1990s. You can find the store here.

Other items at the UCLA Bruins team store include shirts of Olympian Jordan Chiles. Chiles announced she would be coming back to UCLA for her final two seasons of gymnastics.

With the football season in full swing, some of the more popular items are in the “hot products” section, as they are sharp-looking throwback football jerseys. On the website, it mentions:

“Our athletes earn industry-leading payouts on every sale. When we say “athletes first”, we mean it.”

It appears other Big Ten schools such as Washington, Rutgers, Purdue, Penn State, Ohio State, Northwestern, Nebraska, Michigan State, Maryland, Iowa, Indiana, and Illinois have their version of the store.
