Tennessee defensive back to explore other options as graduate transfer

Tennessee defensive back to explore other options as a graduate transfer.

Redshirt sophomore defensive back Tyus Fields announced Monday he will explore other options as a graduate transfer.

“My time here at UT has come to an end and after much prayer and thought, I’ve decided to explore other options as a graduate transfer,” Fields announced.

The 5-foot-10, 186-pound Fields appeared in seven games from 2019-21 at Tennessee. He totaled two tackles and one tackle for a loss.

Fields came to Tennessee from William Amos Hough High School in Cornelius, North Carolina.

Fields signed with Tennessee in the Vols’ 2018 recruiting class. The 2018 signing class was the second since the early signing period began.
