Former Georgia receiver Tyler Simmons has released merchandise featuring the phrase ‘Tyler Simmons Was Onsides.”
For every $25 made, $1 will be donated to Extra Special People, a nonprofit organization that helps people with disabilities.
OFFICIAL “Tyler Simmons Was Onsides” merch is now available. Took a little longer than expected, because I wanted to support a cause, so for every $25 made $1 will be donated to the non profit organization Extra Special People (ESP).https://t.co/0diTBKucnl

Simmons is synonymous with UGA’s 2018 title game loss versus Alabama. The Powder Springs, Georgia, native, then a sophomore, appeared to block a punt late in the third quarter, which would have given the Bulldogs a chance to extended the lead and put Alabama into full comeback mode.
Instead, officials called Simmons offside and Alabama punted once more, this time without any mishaps, giving Alabama a much more accomplishable task of getting back in the game from 10 points down.
We are well aware of what happened next, and I will not rehash it here, but be the judge yourself – was Simmons onside or not?
It looks like Tyler Simmons was onside on this blocked punt…. pic.twitter.com/7EkFmnnXOS

In my opinion, Simmons was clearly onside and every Alabama fan should keep that in mind when they think back to this game.
I love that Simmons has used the phrase for his benefit, but more importantly, the donations to ESP for every $25 sold is a program everyone can get behind.
