Panthers continue to make changes to front office

The Panthers will be down two more members in the front office.

President of football operations and general manager Dan Morgan is continuing the reconstruction of the Carolina Panthers.

A few days after parting ways with director of pro scouting Ron Hanrahan and assistant director of pro scouting Tyler Ramsey, the team is sending off another pair of front office men. One of whom is personnel executive Jeff Morrow, who is retiring after 26 years with the organization.

Morrow confirmed the decision to Joe Person of The Athletic on Saturday afternoon. His son, Jordan, posted the following on Twitter/X earlier this morning:

A highly-respected and well-liked member of the braintrust for nearly three decades, Morrow had previously served as executive director of player personnel. He shifted to his senior advisory role for college scouting in 2021.

The Panthers will also be moving on without area scout Michael Coe. Coe, who had worked for the Senior Bowl, was hired by Carolina nearly two years ago to cover the northeast region.

Panthers reportedly make changes in front office

Per multiple reports, the Panthers have parted ways with a few members of their front office.

The Carolina Panthers have made a few changes to their front office following the 2024 NFL draft.

As first reported by CBS Sports lead NFL insider Jonathan Jones on Thursday, the team has parted ways with director of pro scouting Ron Hanrahan and assistant director of pro scouting Tyler Ramsey. The moves were later confirmed by Joe Person of The Athletic as well as Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer.

Hanrahan began his NFL journey as a media relations intern with the Buffalo Bills in 2001. He’d go on to spend 16 seasons there—serving as scouting assistant, pro personnel assistant, pro personnel coordinator, assistant director of pro personnel and director of pro personnel.

Carolina hired Hanrahan as a pro scout in 2017.

Ramsey, who came along in 2021, started as personnel intern for the Seattle Seahawks in 2009. He stayed in Seattle for a total of 12 seasons, where he also assumed the roles of scouting assistant and area scout.
