Kentucky women’s basketball coach Kenny Brooks did a lot of work to put together a very good roster for the 2024-25 season. That doesn’t mean he isn’t look toward the future, though. He recently offered 2026 recruit Trinity Jones a scholarship.
Jones is a 6’1″ guard from Illinois is very well thought of nationally, and ESPN has her ranked as one of the ten best players in her class and rated five stars. She already has a lot of offers for when she enters college.

The talented guard has also played for the 2023 USA Basketball Women’s U16 National Team at the FIBA Americas U16 Championship in Mexico. She averaged 9.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game and the team took the gold medal.
Obviously, it will be quite some time before Jones makes a decision on where to attend college. However, Wildcats fans have to be excited to see Brooks targeting the top players in multiple recruiting classes.
After a great conversation with @CoachBrooksVT I’m very blessed to have received an offer from @KentuckyWBB!!!! #Gowildcats 💙🤍 (@MacIrvinGirls) pic.twitter.com/MMFuNbWdtK
