On Friday, Nebraska Cornhuskers wide receiver Trey Palmer had a historic night, as he broke the school’s single season receiving yards record. The record was previously held by Stanley Morgan, who had 1,004 receiving yards in 2018. A touchdown reception in the second quarter brought Palmer over that mark. At the conclusion of the game, Palmer has 1,043 receiving yards this season.
It has been a historic season for Palmer. In October, he broke Nebraska’s single game receiving record with 237 receiving yards against Purdue. In addition, he became the first FBS player this century with at least 225+ receiving yards and 50+ rushing yards in a game.
