Gus Malzahn has found his defensive coordinator and it is someone he is extremely familiar with.
On Wednesday, it became official that Travis Williams is joining Malzahn and UCF as the Knights new defensive coordinator. Auburn fans were happy to see the former linebacker and linebackers coach get his big chance.

I asked new UCF DC Travis Williams about the decision to leave Miami after a few weeks. He said Manny Diaz told him, "You have to take that, it's a great opportunity." Said when Gus Malzahn reached out to him it peaked his interest. "Where do I sign up? It was a no brainer."
