Toronto Raptors at Milwaukee Bucks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s Toronto Raptors at Milwaukee Bucks odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Toronto Raptors (2-9) open NBA Cup action against the Milwaukee Bucks (2-8) Tuesday at Fiserv Forum. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NBA odds around the Raptors vs. Bucks odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: First meeting; Raptors won 2-1 last season

The Raptors have lost 4 in a row after a 123-103 extinction by the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday. They shared the love in that one with 6 players in double figures. F RJ Barrett had 18 points and 7 boards, but shot just 1-for-7 from 3-point range.

The Bucks have stepped in a pile this season and can’t get back on track. They lost 113-107 barely missing the cover as 5-point dogs to the Boston Celtics Sunday. They have just 1 win in the last 9 games. F Giannis Antetokounmpo had 43 points, 13 boards and 5 assists Sunday. G Damian Lillard (concussion) has been ruled out for this one.

Raptors at Bucks picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 111, Raptors 108

Moneyline

Short and sweet – I think the Bucks take this game, but I like the Raptors to cover.

The only prop bet that sticks out to me is TAUREAN PRINCE OVER 16.5 POINTS+REBOUNDS+ASSISTS (-105). He had 9 points, 9 boards and 3 assists in the last game against Boston. With Lillard and Middleton out, Giannis will need some help.

Against the spread

I love the RAPTORS +8.5 (-110) to cover here. They’re just 2-9 on the season but 8-3 ATS. With Milwaukee reeling and without key parts, this is my favorite bet in this game.

Over/Under

The Bucks are just 3-7 O/U thus far, and Toronto is 7-4. Both teams have cashed 3 straight Unders. With so many pieces out for Milwaukee, I’m taking the UNDER 225.5 (-110).

Raptors at Bucks picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 120, Raptors 106

Moneyline

PASS.

Milwaukee should pick up the win, but the Bucks are not worth the risk of betting on as -2000 favorites. Bet on the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

LEAN RAPTORS +17 (-110).

Toronto has covered the spread in 3 of its last 4 matchups vs. Milwaukee and is 7-3 in the last 10 matchups. The Raptors are also 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings with the Bucks in Milwaukee.

The Bucks have also been underperforming recently and have 2 key players on their injury report, further strengthening the odds of the Raptors covering here.

This is only a lean because both teams have been similar ATS this season and because Toronto is the coldest team in the league right now.

Over/Under

BET OVER 225.5 (-110).

The Over has hit in 4 consecutive games for the Raptors. For Milwaukee, the Over is 2-1 in its last 3 games and is 6-3 in its last 9. The Over has also hit in each of the last 3 Toronto-Milwaukee matchups and in 4 of the last 5 meetings.

Toronto Raptors at Milwaukee Bucks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Toronto Raptors at Milwaukee Bucks odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Toronto Raptors (35-36) and Milwaukee Bucks (50-20) meet Sunday at Fiserv Forum. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET (NBA TV). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Raptors vs. Bucks odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Raptors covered the spread as 9.5-point home favorites Saturday with a 122-107 win vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves. F Pascal Siakam finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds as Toronto won its 7th straight home game.

The Bucks failed to cover as 12-point home favorites Thursday in a 139-123 loss to the Indiana Pacers. Milwaukee blew a 14-point 2nd-half lead and lost for the 2nd time in its last 7 games.

The Bucks lead this season’s series 2-0 with the Over hitting in 1 of the 2 meetings. Milwaukee covered as a 1.5-point home favorite 130-122 as the Over (221.5) cashed in the most recent meeting Jan. 17.

Raptors at Bucks picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 116, Raptors 113

Moneyline

PASS.

The Bucks (-400) have the 4th-best home winning percentage at 80.6% (28-7) and should be able to beat Toronto, but are being slightly overvalued on the moneyline. Bet the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

BET RAPTORS +9.5 (-120).

The Raptors have been playing up to the level of their competition lately and are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games vs. teams with a winning percentage above .600. Toronto has lost both games vs. Milwaukee this season and should come out extra motivated to not lose a 3rd straight in the series.

The Bucks have been underwhelming at Fiserv Forum lately and are just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 234.5 (-112).

The Under is 10-3 in Toronto’s last 13 games vs. teams with a winning record and 5-2 in Milwaukee’s last 7 vs. sub-.500 teams. These teams tend to play low-scoring games vs. each other, with the Under hitting in 10 of the last 13 meetings, and Sunday should be another defensive-minded matchup.

Bucks at Raptors picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 110, Raptors 109

Moneyline

PASS.

Milwaukee (-210) is an impressive 4-1 on the 2nd night of a back-to-back this season, but risking more than 2 times your potential profit on the moneyline given Antetokounmpo is out again. Bet the spread or total instead.

Against the spread

BET RAPTORS +4.5 (-110).

Toronto has played well in Milwaukee over the last few seasons and should be able to carry over the momentum from its impressive overtime win at New York Monday. Toronto is 8-4 ATS as a road underdog and 4-2 ATS on the 2nd night of a back-to-back. Take the points.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 224.5 (-115).

The Raptors step up defensively when facing top-tier competition as the Under is 10-2 in Toronto’s last 12 games vs. teams with a winning record. The Under is 4-0 in Milwaukee’s last 4 games on the 2nd night of a back-to-back and 10-2 in the last 12 meetings between these 2 teams.

Raptors at Bucks: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Bucks 118, Raptors 109

Money line (ML)

PASS, because the Bucks are the play but not at the -225 price tag amid a losing slide. Milwaukee has won and covered the spread in three of the last four regular-season head-to-head clashes since the Raps topped the Bucks in the 2018-19 NBA Playoffs en route to their first championship.

Both teams have bad 3-point defense and that could potentially swing things toward the underdog but the recent loss to the lowly T-Wolves is really all you need to fade the Raps.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

Back the BUCKS -5.5 (-110) to win by at least 6 points for a proper return on investment. The absence of Holiday has taken an obvious toll during the Bucks’ three-game losing skid, but he had a ho-hum performance against the Raptors earlier this season with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.

SF Giannis Antetokounmpo (24 points), C Brook Lopez (20) and SF Khris Middleton (24) led the way that time out. The Bucks won the rebounding battle 59-46, outscored the Raps 40-26 in the paint and 17-0 on fast-break points.

Over/Under (O/U)

The last six Bucks-Raptors games played to the Under, although defensive intensity was ratcheted up in most of those with playoff seeding on the line or with the teams in the playoffs.

Look for both top-tier head coaches to emphasize defense over offense while trying to get their teams back on track. Back the UNDER 235.5 (-110) on the highest total on Tuesday’s NBA slate.
