Campbell has been victorious in the past two starts, topping the Kraken and Penguins. The start against Pittsburgh Thursday was more impressive, as he stopped 45 of the 46 shots he faced, improving to 3-1-0 with a 2.25 GAA and .930 SV% in four February starts.
Blues at Maple Leafs odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Maple Leafs 4, Blues 3
The Maple Leafs (-190) are just a little too on the expensive side, as they get the Blues (+155) on home ice. Toronto should be able to get the job done after topping St. Louis on the road in a high-scoring matchup earlier in the season, but risking nearly twice as much as your potential return is not optimal.
PASS.
Against the spread
The BLUES +1.5 (-165) are a better play on the road. They can’t be trusted to win straight up on the road against one of the league’s best offensive units, especially after suffering a loss to lowly Montreal. However, St. Louis should be able to keep it close.
Over/Under
OVER 6.5 (+120) is a very good value at plus-money.
The Leafs have posted two or more goals in 12 consecutive games, kicking off the streak with the aforementioned 6-5 victory in St. Louis Jan. 15. The Over is 7-2 across the past nine outings for the Leafs. The Over is 3-2-2 in the past seven games for the Blues, too.
