A trio of Spartans will be competing in the 2024 Olympic Games from Paris.

The Olympics officially begins on Friday, and there will be three Michigan State Spartans competing in the games. Here’s the breakdown of the Spartans:

  • Heath Baldwin in the decathlon for the United States
  • Tori Franklin in the triple jump for the United States
  • Shay Colley in basketball for Canada

The Olympics will be televised on NBC.

Spartan Tori Franklin heading to 2024 Summer Olympics

Another Spartan is heading to the Paris Olympics:

Another member of the Michigan State community will be heading to Paris, France, for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Tori Franklin will be representing the United States in the triple jump. The former Spartan finished third in the triple jump with a 13.72m leap.

Franklin also competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, finishing 25th.

In 2022, she earned bronze at the World Championships to become the first American woman to medal in the triple jump at a World Championship.
