Josh Heupel and Tennessee’s coaching staff continues to recruit future Vols. Tennessee offered a scholarship to 2026 running back prospect TJ Ward Jr.
“I’m blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Ward Jr. said.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound running back prospect is from Nashville Christian School in Nashville, Tennessee.
Currently there are not recruiting rankings for Ward Jr. from 247Sports, ESPN, Rivals or On3.
The Vols are one of three Southeastern Conference schools to offer Ward Jr.
Ward Jr. has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Marshall, Clemson, Boston College, Toledo, Eastern Kentucky, Middle Tennessee State and Ole Miss.
The Vols have two commitments in their 2026 recruiting class: Quarterback Faizon Brandon and tight end Carson Sneed.
